If you check that first post CPU-Z validation link, you could see I have 4 drives. I have 128 where I run OS. Then there are 2x 500GB (they used to be on RAID 0 where I ran the OS) Now there are random stuff + few games. And all pictures & videos are on that 3TB drive. ( the K: drive what I have been testing)

Ok, here's new tests. I got this run a little bit faster. I don't know why, but somehow at last time when I installed windows (C drive swap) I had been set SATA configuration to run at IDE. Now I changed it to AHCI and it make some difference! Specially for the SSD. Though It's still far from theoretical maximum. (300mb/sec) But for normal disk, speed difference was almost nothing. C drive. Hmm. Test results are really interesting... In sequential tests normal drive was farster than SSD. But in random r/w SSD rocks. There are 48057 files and 484 folders. Few folders have more than 500 pictures, but most of them have about 50-100. Preview quality is medium. Next step is *none*, so that wont help me. I have used about 30% of disk space... so defrag could make it little bit faster. Maybe. I will do speed tests and see how my disks can do...

I used to run those two 500Gb drives on RAID 0. But speed difference was low (when comparing it to single drive) SSD would be good, but 1tb cost about 300-450€ (at lowest). What is good program to test my drives speed?

Ok, My computer is almost from dinosaurs ages. (here's CPU-Z validation: http://valid.x86.fr/zclzfj ) I started few years ago new hobby photography. And now I have about 50k raw photos (550Gt) in my storage. When I have to find a picture and I'm scrolling in Lightroom through my photos, it lags really much. All my photos are now that single 3tb drive (+backup on local network drive.) Also I do little bit video editing and there's same lag... Task manager says about my physical memory: 59% (Usable:6570mb Free:60mb) CPU usage is only about 10-35% Is it hard-drive what does that lag? Or do I run out of ram? (yeah, 16gigs are maxium for that motherboard... in 2009 it was great) Is there reasonable way to upgrade system, so LR wont lag so much. What kind of system you recommend?
