  1. So how's about a refund/compensation to @Majestic for now sitting with a cooler he's bought on totally wrong sales advice from the site?
  2. I'll call this... Razer Rekt basically a lot of stuff that allow me to play on the green color theme in terms of cabling and lighting
  3. Definitely considered the EVGA versions, but I see most of the others have the fan cable directly wired to the internals of the card, making it difficult to replace/mod the fans on the supplied radiators. This has dulled the option for me slightly...
  4. What about factory OC'd? Which is bought as-is off the shelf? Custom AIB versions in essence. Those give the Fury X a headache
  5. All I want is a single/dual GPU card capable of 4K at 100Hz or higher
  6. Nothing wrong with the 980... I've taken one as a tie-me-over until the big Pascal units come around...
  7. Maybe, but at least I'll have an X99 motherboard that's done service on more than two generations of i7 processor
  8. Here's more https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_accelerated_processing_unit_microprocessors#.22Kaveri.22_.282014.2C_28_nm.29
  9. Agreed, I'm currently eying a 6700k... but would much rather want a 6850k
  10. You don't really have to AIO Cool that CPU, a good Tower air cooler will most likely be as effective and cheaper. I'd personally aim for a GTX 980, they are more than enough to run anything at 1080p Max. 16GB RAM also better for "Max"
  11. **But will it run Crysis (Flash Games)** Looks good...
  12. Nope, I like having the ability to scale better when GPU's come to the point where they actually start using the available bandwidth
  13. The main reason I'd go for the X99 would be to get access to 40 PCI-lane CPU's and be able to run a full x16/x16 dual SLI/CFX setup.
  14. Unless HBM 1.0 has some inherent design limitations Then it wouldn't make sense at all... GDDR5X will be cheaper and easier to implement.
  15. Agreed, HBM is brand spanking new... and it's got some teething problems... HBM 2.0 will most likely sort these out. Fiji with HBM is a nice design exercise, but definitely not the holy grail
  16. Just LOL... seriously... another Async = DX12 comment? DX12 is more than just Async...
  17. ROI scales like a lead weight in water with each GPU added to the setup... for both
  18. Broadwell-E will not include the iGPU... so not really an issue
