  1. You shouldn’t be experiencing issues with web browsing, and playing games like lol/overwatch Can you describe more about what is bothering you
  2. If that’s all you do it won’t improve anything. I5 6th gen should be more than enough to handle that. I would look at other components that make you feel like it is sluggish. Ram could be if it’s not 8gb A gpu, a 1050 ti is a perfect budget card and is more than enough for those games
  3. There’s nothing against electronic components being brought into the plane but if they suspect anything or feel suspicious 99% of the time it won’t be allowed. I haven’t brought a computer component on a plane so I would definitely ask the company giving the flight
  4. Though tbh I wouldn’t take a risk of getting something that confiscated or lost on a plane. The risk/reward is up to you
  5. they might question it and take a look at it. Obviously I can’t tell you it’s fine to smuggle it in no strings attached, there is a tax if it is intended to be sold to someone else. But it should be able to be brought on a plane.
  6. You want 144 fps gaming, but going with a r5 non oc, I wouldn’t recommend that. Depending on what you do I would pick up a coffee Lake cpu if you’re more into high fps gaming. Since it has a higher ipc and much higher frequency, which games love to take advantage of But if you’re going to stream/record then I would drop down to a 60hz monitor at possibly a higher resolution and stay with Ryzen. I prefer to double my wattage when buying a psu, allows for headroom just Incase anything happens. If youre having budgeting issues and you’re just gaming I would go with 8gb of ram instead of 16, especially how the pricing is atm. These people are suggesting the cheapest mobo, you can do that.. but you have to know there will be features missing. I would find out what you need and go from there
  7. It’s fine, I wouldn’t go for the Titan since sli’ing two different gpus is probably not doable
  8. I don’t know the details but the cop made the ultimate decision to end his life.. for seemingly no reason other than answering the door
  9. I'll continue to use last pass. I wouldn't consider this as last pass as a whole is insecure really just a flaw in the Android app (which I don't even own an android).
  10. Not a whole lot of information you gave us. Knowing where you got it is also key information. If you didn’t pay for it, it probably won’t work
  11. Depends on budget too. 8th gen Intel has expensive motherboards. Only reason I would buy intel is if I was just purely going to game at higher fps. With the exception of the 8700k which I would buy to last me a couple of generations. Light streaming and recording I would go with a r5 1600x. Heavy streaming I would consider a r7 1700. Gaming at 1080p I would pick up an r3 1300x (with upgradabilty in mind if I wanted to do more than gaming down the road). 144hz gaming I would pick up a i3
  12. Depends on what you’re gonna be doing, but in most cases yes it will bottle neck a new gpu. Doesn’t mean you can’t upgrade the gpu now and then do a system upgrade down the road. up to you also total wattage isn’t a good indication of how a gpu performs. For example a 1060 performs much better than a 680, but the 680 has much higher wattage // not sure if you were confused by that, but just wanted to make sure
  13. Price going up due to low stock or just outright being sold out would probably be the worst
  14. Social media can be defined very broadly. If they wanted to I’m sure they could consider some mmos with the way communities interact with eachother as social media
  15. Ask again next year. No point in basing your purchase on data that is outdated by a year.
  16. Imo I wouldn't recommend the x4 950 @TheDankKoosh instead I would say the r3 1200 in place of one of those ram sticks. He won't need 16 gb atm, and given how ram prices are right now it's best to spend as little as possible on them. He wants high fps and that will be more suited to the cpu's single core performance in cs:go, in which since the x4 950 is a generation behind, it is lacking in that (worth the extra price tag) You can check out this video, which gives some more in-depth detail
  17. I mean if your goal is 1080p60fps and nothing else, like streaming while you play then the r3 1200 is all you need, for a good price too since it pairs nicely with the 1060.
  18. This is why even with anti-virus/malware protection you can't be dumb on the internet. There will always be exploits found no matter how well something is programmed
  19. Windows 10 has a way to do this without a bootable drive. Go to settings —> update and security —> recovery —> get started/reset this pc
  20. Entry level is pretty subjective. Although 1080@60 with atleast medium settings I consider that entry level, you can achieve that with less than a 1060 on most games
  21. Does the game not have the ability to change hotkeys? If so I would just map things around esdf instead of wasd since esdf allows for more keys to be mapped around your movement keys
  22. We can't give you upgrades if we dont know the specs of your current pc
