Was about to say the same thing. OP the way it's typed is confusing, can you upload a photo of the question? The parenthesis are important

It's the Hynix spec for stacked HBMemory. Each 1GB memory stack requires a 1024bit wide memory interface.

Well built laptops can handle overclocks, and the performance boost is always good.

jezza39 reacted to Khvarrioiren in Official Nvidia GTX 970 Discussion Thread
I think that I have distanced myself from this discussion fairly well, but now I really have to say that no matter what, saying what Nvidia did with the spec sheets is okay is just absolutely idiotic and just proves how deeply rooted brand loyalty makes people worship a certain brand no matter what kind of shit they pull. Go ahead and call me raging fanboy too, I'll gladly relinquish my Red Team member status the very moment AMD pulls shit like this. Just like I dropped Intel after the Prescott line-up.

Yeah, just a quick example of stuff that you dont want to see.
Here is more:
and this is probably one of the most simple pc circuits, extremely old and bare-bones. Modern stuff like a motherboard is thousands of times more complicated.

Am I the only person who hates the mention of the "Master race" a lot?
Go play our games at 60 fps and be quiet.

jezza39 reacted to RazeG3SG1 in Meet the BenQ BL2711U - 10-bit UHD IPS Monitor for Professionals
Really? MLG, TI4, LCS, EMS One Katowice, their 144Hz monitor can be found everywhere in E-Sports scene. Consoles can't handle 60Hz why would BenQ even market these to consoles?
EDIT: They mostly cater to competitive E-Sports, the RIGs are usually powerful enough to handle the games, G-Sync doesn't make sense here.

jezza39 got a reaction from Torand in WireLurker - Apple Mac Malware
It's software, of course it can get exploited. This seems pretty minor, and will probably be patched in a fortnight or has already been done. What do you mean by a "lot of issues". They can't help people using easily guessable passwords/email addresses. You can't fix people's stupidity.
FYI: MAC =/= Apple Mac.

jezza39 reacted to WanderingFool in Cops can make you unlock your phone if you use your fingerprint to unlock.
I believe the important thing to note here is that despite the wording of the article's title and first paragraph, cops can't force you to provide your fingerprint to look at your phone (they still need a court order and maybe even a warrant to do so).
To be honest though, I find it a crazy concept that you are allowed to withhold passwords. We are entering the age where it is nearly impossible to access certain data without the correct password, and I don't buy the whole "self incriminating" concept. We live in a digital age, and the fifth amendment just wasn't designed with the concept that things such as passwords might the only key to getting data.

jezza39 got a reaction from Techteen14 in What ANDROID phone to get?
First off, me being a bit picky but I see this a lot, "Which ANDROID phone to get", avoid "what" when referring to a selection, it sounds so much better.
Secondly, you can't go wrong with a Nexus, the battery life might be slightly short depending on how you use it, but I still feel it is unbeatable in the Android arena.

jezza39 got a reaction from TehMiik in Anyone still on Sandybridge/-e?
Gaming wise a 2500K still keeps up with the newest stuff, all we get are these little 5% IPC improvements each generation. Sandy-E should be good for at least another 3 years I would think, when DDR4 RAM prices drop and higher memory bandwidth starts being useful in more applications.

jezza39 got a reaction from burningfyra in Any Aussie NZXT H440 Owners here?
A define R4 user here (similar restricted airflow). In January and Febuary where it tops 36oC+ in my non-air conned room, during long gaming sessions, it won't throttle, but GPUs hit 75+ and the CPU hits 80+ with a slight OC and with the Noctua fans close to topping out speed wise.
YMMV, with an AIO liquid cooler, you should fare better.

jezza39 got a reaction from DigitalHermit in LTT forums... are they even interesting anymore? (Leaving, or considering it)
So true, I also hope they spread the mods out geographically, so that there are mods here in most timezones, eastern Australia is in a timezone with almost no-one, close to Japan. So some extra mods (other than Winspeed) from Japan/China/SE Asia/NZ or Aus would be nice, so that when aussies are on there is a mod on cleaning the forum etc.
