  1. What are you studying, ethics? Interesting questions. Completed the survey
  2. As in in the au section of the store how do u filter out the ones taht dont ship from Aus. Even in the AU section, if I randomly add a product to my cart theres a good chance it wont ship from Aus. I guess you could do that for each product ur interested
  3. Cool thanks for ur help, any ideas how to filter for that on the newegg site? I right now add each product into the cart and check the shipping price. International shipping makes newegg au pointless.
  4. http://www.newegg.com/global/au/Storage/EventSaleStore/ID-868?cm_sp=0-_-international%25252525252515-6856-_-http%3a%2f%2fpromotions.newegg.com%2finternational%2f15-6856%2f1000x300-A.jpg&icid=344515 This is what I am talking about, kind of. But these are just promotionals. There are products ive seen not on this page that have the cheaper shipping option as well, like the MSI Gtx 980 ti.
  5. As for PC PP supporting it, thats news, of a kind, hardly important. I knew NewEgg had Australian prices for a while, what the PC PP thing showed me was that now the shipping is actually reasonable, and I was under the impression that it ships from the US and was not reasonable/worth it. The idea of the thread is whether or not these shipping prices are a new thing, which I am asking, please read the OP. Sorry if it wasnt cleared up. The second question is how do u filter the products so u can get that shipping vs shipping from US. Theres a type of delivery called Superegg Saver which is only available on some products it seems, but I dont know how to pre-select those products in the search. Also "ship from Australia" is different from "Australian pricing". I was on NewEgg today and there was some subsection I got into that was "ship from Australia", not just the AU section of the score. These products had relatively cheap shipping (the Superegg Saver one)
  6. In terms of AU PC Part Picker listing NewEgg prices its definitely a new thing. Theres a subsection of NewEgg products that "ship from australia" that are competitive cf local Australian suppliers. Dont know how to filter the searches on the NewEgg site to find them as of yet though.
  7. Im confused. When I go on the NewEgg website AU version and, lets say im looking at the ASUS 980 Ti Strix, the shipping is like 92 bucks. When im on PC part picker AU the shipping for it is listed 12 bucks. How do you access those shipping prices?
  8. Just noticed that on PC part picker New Egg is now listing prices in the Australian version. Not sure if this is a new thing that New Egg ships from Australian warehouses. Typical shipping is 12 AUD, so its definitely not shipping from the US. The prices are very good too . Is this new?
  9. Do you know what the clearance is for a cooler? Is there a spec sheet or something. Make sure you know before buying the cooler I guess
  10. The Noctua NH-D14 is a high end air cooler that can fit into a smaller mid tower as opposed to many other high end air coolers where u should really check clearance before buying (the NH-D15 is bigger though). A lot of cheaper/budget mid-towers wont fit some of the high enders. High end air cooling can almost match high end AIO so its no contest if your looking at a performance perspective. Space is the real consideration here. Cryorig R1 Universal or Cryorig R1 Ultimate are really aesthetic if that matters to you, and perform similarly to the NH-D15 and Dark Rock Pro 3. Dark Rock Pro 3 is notable for silence, also aesthetics. Whats your case?
  11. It wont fit into the eclipse, probably will go enthoo pro m
  12. I think I am going to wait until the Phanteks Eclipse case comes out in a week, as the corsair 200R cannot fit most of the high grade air coolers apart from Noctua DH-14. The R1 universal seems to be a really good choice, looks ballin and extreme performance, equalling the DH-15. Beats it with 3 fans, and in some places u can get the third fan free. Hopefully it will fit.
  13. Build: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/D4TmnQ The Dark Rock Pro 3 isnt available in Australia, and the Dark Rock 3 isnt all that good. The Dark Rock Pro 3 is too far outside the budget. Budget around 80-90 AUD. The Noctua NH-D14 is slightly too expensive, also aesthetic issues but thats the only other one i know. Aiming for relatively high overclock. What high end air cooler should I get
  14. @AmazingasianThe Dark Rock Pro 3 is not available in Australia, nor is the R1. Any other high end air recommendation?
  15. Yeah thought HKZeroFive meant the 850 EVO 120 GB. The 250GB is 130 AUD too much for the budget. Ill do the 850 EVO 120, its only 6 dollars more than the Adata SP900. SP550 is not available in australia.
