Ran out of pipes, so i got stuck.
Yesterday i got a message that the delivery will take alteast 10 more days...

    So, i did some testing...
And, i´m just stuck again, i like the copper in some way, and the acrylic in another.

    Acrylic or copper ?

Something like this....   Time to hit the sander and prep the panels for paint, or wrap. Haven´t decided yet wich way to go.   I dont like the waterblock for the 7950, but its the only i have that fits in this case, Pandora is only 16cm total width. I´ll have to look for a nice backplate, or make my own.     More problems.   Was planning on using the PrimoChill Ghost fitting, but that one on the GPU is too wide. The side panel is 100% tight against the GPU block, and that fitting is 2-3mm more.   Ghost fitting that´s too big down right. The two top ones is what i have to choose from. Maybe incorporate a metallic red theme... hmm   Or... use Ghost fittings all over, except for GPU where i use the black ones? (top left)       Here´s how it stands out.       This is how it looks trough the panel, pump got pretty nice positioned       I tested the Ghost fitting with side panel on, it doesnt bulge, and its not visible that the fitting is head on with the side panel window. That would be the best solution, i like the Ghost fittings.       Third day now, still stuck on how to route the acrylic tubing   Any suggestions ?   First routing idea. Pretty straight forward, one of the pipes has 5 bends in it. Not sure if i´ll pull that off       This one is more complex, where the inlet for the CPU goes BEHIND the GPU. And the other one just trough the GPU and down. Its really tight pulling anything in front of the GPU due to case width (only 160mm)     Bending testing goes well, the left one is done. Doing some testing with the right one, trying to run it paralell with the other.

    Quick notice...
The black PSU/Floor shroud is NOT the final finish.
Black paint is just a easy way to see scratches and other surface damages needed to be fixed

Test-fitting the floor to see where i need to mod it more to keep clearances for fans and case.

Now starts the really fun work with cutting holes for all acrylic pipes for the pump and res

Hello everyone! It's been some time since I've posted here and I have another project that I'm working on that's quite the power house for a mini-ITX. Wanted to do full acrylic for this build so that includes both acrylic top blocks and tubing as well. Can't wait to show you guys the finished product!
        It's completed!

This is a build I didnt even intend on doing, however when a friend of mine spills water all over his brand new console, I have to capitalize on it. =)   Specs so far.   Case: Xbox One CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 Cooler: ID-Cooling IS-40  Mobo: Asus Z87 Maximus vi Impact Ram: 8GB G-skill DDR3 1333MHz  PSU: HDPLEX 250W HTPC PSU GPU: Gigabyte GTX 960   Once i get the motherboard fixed in the with the i/o backplate then it will be time to measure the space i have left and make the final decision on what GPU/PSU i am going to use. Right now it is between SFX and TFX PSU's. My options for GPU's could end up being pretty limited if i am not going to be able to fit a full width card in it, but MSI and Gigabyte do both make Half-height GTX 750ti's which are both low power and really small.     Please note. All parts on this a either second hand or parts i had lying around except for the GPU and PSU which have yet to be finalized, so if you have a problem with my choices you can look at someone else's build.       CPU     MOBO. (at first i was nervous about buying second hand from ebay or amazon   ITS ALIVE!!   Oh hello!   Don't you just feel empty inside?   Time to use the dremel to grind/cut down all of that stuff on the bottom. Needs to be smooth

Middle plastic junk has been grinded down. Backplate has been installed and motherboard has been test fitted!

Here are a couple pics from the expansion slot installation. Looks a bit rough right now but nothing some sanding, grinding and paint wont fix! GPU and CPU cooler both come in today with the Kill A Watt so wattage testing, painting and possibly starting to put everything in the case may happen in the next two days!

960, and kill a watt came in so it is time to do some benching to test some wattage!       Firestrike score!     Look at that IDLE and Max Wattage during firestrike   Idle   Max Wattage   New Cooler     Time for a test fit and lay everything out in the case!       Overall i am getting mega excited for this!!! I just started painting the case as well. Will post pics when im done!

    I come bearing PRESENTS!!!

PSU and power brick came in! Time for a full assmebly!     IT ALL FITS!     Dat Power Supply though!     Arial view     Teaser!(and yes. the logo now glows green!)     TADA!!!         The Back is a little messy but i am so done with messing with it         Well as you see. I am pretty much done. All i have left to do is minor paint touch up and cleaning it up! Benckmarks and full thermals will be coming in my final post.  Also may Update the first post to include the whole build once my final post is up. Thank you all for the kind words and support!   (P.S. a little bird told me an i5 may be in this ones future!)

So, I was walking around Melbourne one afternoon and it happened to be hard rubbish day. I spied what looked to be a PC in one pile of junk and went over to have a look. I opened it up, thinking it's probably just trash and find to my suprise a build with an intel core i5 2500, 8gigs of 1333mhz ram and a HSI AMD 6790:

This build is for my brother Omar
I'm going to leave this GIF here

I started off by looking at the case and fitting the power supply to decide should i paint it or not...

That Super-Nova paint finish is soo nice it would be a shame to paint over it, So I decided to leave it.
Take a look at those Hard-Drive cages they look soo bad and they are blocking all the air flow from the video cards, they have to go.
    Humm..

I will only use the base, its enough for me, but how am I going to fix the hard drive to it though...?

Ok lets get my old dummy and my trusty ruler.

    drilling some holes

started wiring and mounting the cooler.

almost done doing a POST test....aaannnd

    all good  B)

my gtxs LEDs rubbers materials are different, the first one just took a little sanding and it gave a good white glow, the second one though I almost sanded it to the bottom and its still kinda greenish...sigh

So I’ve had my 750D for a while and been slowly upgrading, since I picked up a cheap 4820k I decided to do an overhaul.

    New specs:
    ·         Basics
    ·         Intel 4820k
    ·         Asus X79 Deluxe
    ·         Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133 2x8GB w/light bar (will upgrade to 4x8 later)
    ·         2x Asus 980 Strix
    ·         Asus Xonar Essence STX
    ·         Corsair HX750 Silver
    ·         Corsair Black Sleeved Cable Kit
    ·         Icemods RGB LED Strip (1m)
    ·         3x Noctua NF-F12 Industrial PPC IP67 2000RPM
    ·         2x Noctua NF-A14 Industrial PPC IP67 2000RPM
    ·         2x Intel 730 240GB (Raid 0, Boot)
    ·         Samsung 850 Evo 500GB (Games)
    ·         Water Cooling
    ·         2x EK D5 pump
    ·         EX Dual pump top
    ·         2x EK Strix Acetal GPU Block
    ·         2x EK Strix Backplate Black
    ·         EK Supremacy Acetal CPU Block
    ·         360mm Black Ice GTSs Stealth Radiator
    ·         280mm Black Ice GTX Extreme Radiator
    ·         Bitspower 250mm WaterTank Z-Multi
    ·         Primochill LRT ½ ¾ Tubing
    ·         Various Bitspower matte compression/rotary fittings (90’, 45’)
    ·         Bitspower SLI Fitting
    ·         Desk Stuff (Bonus)
    ·         Ducky Shine 3 w/Keycool PBT keycaps
    ·         Logitech G502
    ·         ROG Swift
    ·         2x QNIX QX2710 debezelled
    ·         LG 25UM65 (1440x1080 IPS)
    ·         Corsair SP-2500
    ·         Audio-Technica ATH-AG1
    ·         Wireless Xbox 360 controller
    ·         OIfficeworks Apex 1800 Desk
So I wanted to clean up my tubing as it was all over the place and get a bigger res, without the stream crossing, also didn’t like the big curve between the radiators. I felt more confortable having 2 pumps on 3/5, hoping for a quiet build once the fans are tuned.

    Without further ado;

    Previous setup

    Old mobo out

So many fittings (too many as it turned out

    Glorious fans

    Old mobo

    New mobo

SSD mounting – must go for now

    Old fans

    Hopeful run after some modification

    Out with the old

So much water cooling on the sink

    And computer on the bench

    Rads need some cleaning

    Attempted marking

    Bare metal case

Drilling – starting small, ended up 1 and ¼’

    In with the new

    Fits okay

    Collatoral damage

    Prepped new mobo

    Fits nicely

    Tubing begun

    More progress

    Tubing complete

    Cable management needs improvement

    Attempted to tidy, but complete

    Panel back on

    Lights on

OK so money gone for the moment. I did order another sheet of acrylic though, this one is important. I also started work on the 5.25 area, stripping off the CM locks. I've also snapped off any metal remnants so I can make a cover panel.

Any way, today was a day of tweaking. I've already settled on an overclock of 4.7ghz, which apparently is very rare for SBE on standard cooling. So that I was very happy with.

Only thing was, when I overclocked my Titan Blacks using Precision X they just bombed. Not sure if it's an issue my end, or, if the cards had a borked bios on. Any way, I did some research and...

So now they are EVGA Titan Black Signature editions lmao. They're completely bench stable, too !

OK so here's what I got up to today. First up I took apart the EVGA SLI bridge. I was faced with a 2mm plate of clear acrylic, so I just hit it a few times with the Sharpie, letting it dry between coats.

    Simple, but very effective

And, a shot of the rig.

I am quickly growing very bored of the stock hard drive part. Expect that to come apart soon..

OK so the build log. Please note this is far from finished ! I have some serious mods left to do..

So I tidied up the wiring that comes with the case.

    And then fitted the PSU.

    Cracked out the board.

And turned the case around. A shot of the cavernous interior !

OK. So what I was most worried about, the CPU.

    Seems legit...

And time came to fit it to the motherboard. After wrestling with it for a while nervously I finally realised that 2011 has two mechs, both need to be engaged. Very odd !

    Board in..

OK, interlude.. One 7" Android tablet..

Keep and eye out for that thing in the next week or so. It's going to be a part of the PC itself.

Wiring, and a couple of hard drives.

    Wires.

    Tidy.

Then it was round to the back for some cable management.

OK so time to fit the H110. Remove the top.

    And open up the cooler.

    Get out all the bits.

And then TIM clean the pump. I am using my own TIM.

    Fans

    And fit.

    Turn it back around..

    Fit the pump

    Fit the SSD

Sorted. Right round to the back.

Well, the time has finally arrived. Every beast PC needs a beast monitor, yes?

    Enter the Acer Predator 4k2k UHD XB280HK, a 28" 4k G-Sync monitor.

I always fully intended to go 4k but wasn't so sure it was time before now. Obviously going 4k comes with a huge performance hit so there needs to be a way to smooth things over if they get choppy. G-Sync is obviously the answer, and until there is a GPU set up that can provide 144hz 60hz is more than enough.

Have only played Dying Light so far but it's absolutely jaw dropping. I've never seen a game that has a perfect alias. IE - objects look completely free of their surroundings with no jagged edges at all.

So yay and all that stuff, I did some more work to BPM. First I removed the fingers from the SLI bridge which was actually very easy and did not require the heat gun. I just pulled off the plugs with pliers then snipped them all clean. Then I gave the rig a good clean/vacuum before putting in the new lights and putting it all back together.
