  1. used both EK UV Blue and Green. I found that the green after 6-8 months started to build up on the tubing. I have now changed the tubing to blue Primochill LRT and used one bottle of EK UV blue mixed into 3 litres of DI water. I'm going to see how it works out since its mostly DI water.
  2. i would recommend the EVGA PSUs. I just got the 1300w G2 - awesome PSU with a rock solid build and stable current. I would look at the 1500w variant. I watched a review from the British dude from Overclockers and at the wall the 2 295x2 were pulling 1400w.
  3. apparently noctua is coming out with black colored fans now. I would get those. I have the Corsair SP on my rads and they are a bit loud. NoiseBlocker fans also come highly recommended. Yate loons are another brand that I was looking at for my build. If you want cheap, reliable and move a lot of air - Cougar fans have worked really well for me. 4 x 120mm fans for $20 when NCIX has a sale. Work awesome. They are NOT PWM fans if you are interested in that sort of thing.
  4. I'm hoping to use this on my next build. I love that they combined the 2 blocks into one.
  5. sounds like a kinked hose and air trapped somewhere. I can't see the pics but do you have a vent for the air to escape while you are bleeding the system? Or have you made everything air tight from the time you filled it up? I had an issue with trapped air but I let the system bleed out for 8 hours overnight with one of the fittings at the top of my res removed so air could escape. Surprisingly when I checked on it in the morning, I was down about 20% in my res from the top (I have the EK 400ml) after the trapped air worked itself out of my system. My setup: 1 x 480 rad 1 x 360 rad (30mm) 1 x 360 rad (60mm) 1 x MCP655 pump
  6. my 3770k @ 4.6 @ 1.32v Temps never go over 58 Celcius. Completely custom watercooling loop.
  7. I have had great luck with Swiftech compression fittings. I have used over 60 in the 4 rigs that I have built in the last 2 years and only one was defective and broke. Never had any leaking. Prices are much less than Bitspower.
  8. What motherboard do you have? I have a special ATX4P port next to my 24 pin connector that supplies more power to the PCI lanes when using a multi-GPU setup. I know it made a difference for me. When I didn't have it connected I would have major stuttering issues in BF4. I'm running 2 780's in SLI. One is an EVGA Hydro copper and the other is an MSI. Mixing manufacturers is fine.
  9. Have you tested your PSU? Can you borrow another one to test? There might be a power delivery issue to the board causing the error.
  10. yes, tried that. I have tried to think what the obvious stuff might be.
  11. Need some help Got a new setup in place. Gtx780 in SLI. One is the EVGA hydro copper and the other is an msi GTX 780 with a swiftech block. 3770 k OCD to 4.4 @ 1.32V. Graphics cards OCD to 103% using evga precision. PSU was the HX 750. Just changed it to evga 1300 w g2 Problems: When I'm playing BF4 in Nvidia surround @ 5760x1200 each time I die there is like a significant drop in FPS and it's almost like a stutter in the game. It didn't do this when I only had one card. I thought when I bought the second 780 that it was running out of juice so I bought the new PSU. In Titan fall I'm having ping problems. I'm constantly at about 100-120. When I go to BF4 I'm at 20-30. And no, nothing is downloading or uploading at that time except the game. When I fire up a game (happens in both Titanfall and BF4) the centre screen (connected to the display port of the top card) goes scrambled and the surround monitors are fine (connected via dvi). These are apple cinema monitors and I don't have a choice on the type of connection to use. Here is a pic of what I mean. I have to then unplug it and plug it back in and everything is fine. I have updated the drivers twice with no luck. Thanks for the help!
  12. do you think it will help if I put another sata connection to the ATX4P port thing? My mobo manual says it supplies more power to the 16x and 8x PCI lanes. I have noticed in other builds that most people don't connect to it. I'm going to give it a try once I get the new power supply connected. EVGA supernova 1300g2
  13. Display port is the next gen standard. 4K monitors require Display port connections. Full digital and higher bandwith = higher resolution.
  14. Are you supposed to run a single connector or should you connect both ports with 2 bridges? Does it make a difference?
  15. bump...Really hoping to get this resolved. I have looked through numerous forums and sites - all recommend to verify and update (and re-update) drivers which have been done. Thanks in advance!!
  16. So I'm still having this annoying problem. Anyone have any suggestions?? Here is an example of me starting Titanfall. Again, it's only my display port (centre) screen.
  17. Awesome stuff. Just ordered a bunch of stuff from your website Lutro. Including the combs shown here! Sleeving and tools. Thanks for making them available.
  18. I just ran into the dilemma. Upgraded from a pretty hefty system with an HX 750. Bought another 780 and with it in SLI in a 3 monitor surround Watch Dogs with Ultra Shaders mode managed to shut down/freeze my computer. I just picked up an EVGA 1300 while it was one sale. Gold rated PSU for $200
