Hey Linus. Huge fan! I'm a student in the market looking for a gaming laptop under a $1000 or close to that price point. Dell recently released the "Dell G7 15 7588" lineup of laptops featuring 8th Gen i7 and GTX 1060 within this price range. I was wondering if you'd be so kind as to make time for a review and let us know your opinion on the laptops and whether its a good purchase for someone who would like to use it for both daily school work as well as gaming. Is it as good as the Predator Helios 300 or even better? Is the price to performance ratio good? All questions that would be nice to have answered. So please if possible make this happen.

    Just get a Helios 300. I have one and it's been good to me so far.

    I've read a ton of reviews complaining about quality control and overheating so i wanted to explore a bif before making a choice. 
    how long have you had yours and how has it held up? any issues with it? or anything in particular you're not fond of?

    I have had mine since Aug. (not my main PC though) and it stays cool. My only issue is the brush medal will get dings on the sides over time and they are noticeable (This also happened on the brush metal keyboard on my Dell Venue 11 pro Tablet too).
