We doubled our customer support staff, but we've also had another big influx of tickets to go along with the massive number of backpack and screwdriver shipments, and responses have been delayed (you'll find evidence of that, like this thread), but we're working our way through them. If we need to just send a second one to the correct address because your ticket got lost or whatever, we'll do that. Our CS team has just one directive: "do the right thing" Not "do the right thing as long as it doesn't cost money" or "do the right thing as long as it's fast". Just "do the right thing". No one is getting scammed, and everyone will receive the product they ordered. Trust me, bro. I've flagged this thread for our team to have a look at in the morning.

Any responsible business has an employee NDA. It's for the protection of the business, its partners, and its employees. Regardless of the exact terms, if there was anything bad happening here, you'd already know about it anyway because in Canada no NDA can restrict a complaint about unlawful behavior. So the simple answer is that the law is working both ways as intended. It's preventing me from muzzling anyone with a real problem, and it's preventing anyone without a real problem from defaming me for lulz.

Gross margins are higher than 20%, but operating costs are also going up substantially. We doubled our customer service team, we're doubling our engineering team, and we're working on new products that will consume a lot of the profits from this project. Yvonne and I are pretty liberal when it comes to reinvesting money back into the business, but yes you're right, we're well into making a net profit on screwdriver.

Sooo many backpacks arriving... They are doing their best to chew through the backlog.

We have not discussed pricing yet, but I would expect to be within the range for convention/meet up events.
