  1. I think that's a good point. Microsoft is a company that can spend tons of money into investigating and developing cheaper ways to get this tech to the mainstream. If they need $$ just ask Mr. Gates. That guy actually can't get rid of his wealth. He earns it too fast it's basically impossible for him.
  2. Yea, I think that's a really big thing. Need for good games.
  3. Source: https://www.forbes.com/sites/paullamkin/2017/03/02/microsoft-confirms-xbox-one-vr-headset-incoming/#66e9ab32ea67 It has been rumored for a while now but Microsoft seems to have finally confirm a VR* headset for the Xbox. What's with the asterisk? Well, Microsoft keeps calling this product a "mixed reality headset". “We’re also excited to share that Windows Mixed Reality experiences will light up on other devices over time, beyond desktop and Microsoft HoloLens. Our plan is to bring mixed reality content to the Xbox One family of devices, including Project Scorpio, in 2018.” So, the product would probably launch alongside Project Scorpio, which is Microsoft's upcoming Xbox that will support native 4K rendering and HDR in 2016. Considering the kind of power that Project Scorpio is supposed to have, this means that Microsoft could probably build a headset comparable to the flagship VR headsets by HTC and Oculus and have them preform on par with those afore mentioned headset with high frame rates. They might not have to tone down the specs the way Sony did with PSVR with its single 60hrz 1080p pannel (I think that is the spec but don't quote me on it) However, the biggest question as with all of these products is the price. Hopefully Microsoft will be able to price the Xbox and the headset at a competitive price that is a little cheaper than the flagship pc headsets. I think that would be very interesting to see. I'd like to hear other people's thoughts about this. Was there a big point that I might have missed. Don't hesitate to reply.
  4. single 1080. Overall in general, one card will result in a much better user experience. Even in the current state of sli, games frequent'y studder momentarily which is very unpleasant if you haven't experienced it yet. 1 1080 for sure
  5. He could also easily make this up as well. He could use this video to draw in views and then once 50 million comes around, he could easily make up and excuse on how he's changing his mind. It wouldn't be hard to do.
  6. Yea I'm still confused. He sounds like deleting his channel is supposed to shame youtube because youtube just lost their biggest creator but then he is creating a new channel. What does he really accomplish?
  7. This sounds like a joke but he makes this seem like it is a serious deal. Sources: Pewdiepie's video: Independent: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/pewdiepie-delete-youtube-channel-subscribers-disappear-a7455261.html At first, like me, this sounds like a very clickbait titled video, that pewdiepie is known to do. But as the video goes on, this sounds like this will actually happen. The summary of the video is another one of his rants about youtube. He goes on and talks about how the subscriber feed is hidden. He talks about how youtube is unsubscribing users form channels for no apparent reason. He uses an example how he was randomly unsubed from H3H3productions, "the only channel I actually watch", but he is still subscribed to these other random channels that he never watches. He gripes about how youtube changes the subcriber notifications and now, youtube doesn't push you to videos from channels that your subscribed to, but it tries to show you videos with clickbait titles. Then, he starts to talk about how his channels performance is right now terrible. He says "Some of these videos don't even have 2,000,000 views". I know that sounds stupid, but he's right. He used to be getting way more than that in the past. (Graph from SocialBlade) This is where he goes on his conspiracy theory. He says, he says a bunch of other insults to youtube calling youtube is like, He gives a somewhat valid reason for youtube trying to kill his channel that is youtube wants a more "mature" channel to be at the top. This is where he makes his statement that he "doesn't want to let youtube win" so therefore he will delete his channel when he hits 50 million subs. He says he will start a new channel and is not quitting youtube. Honestly, I don't know how this really helps. I mean, if he wants to believe that youtube wants to kill his channel, then hes making their job much easier. However, It doesn't solve that problems with the subscriber feed. He will still experience those issues in his new channel. Interestingly, at the end of the video is that he says that he will be "talking to youtube about these issues later today" (video was published on 12-2-16) and that he "will do an update when their is more info". That update has not come and with him nearing 50,000,000 subs (Currently at 49,605,480 as of 12/4/16) I wonder about whats to come. I want to hear your comments about this. I think that this is kind of an over reaction. I feel like he should give this some more time and not give up all the work he had put into his channel in the past to bad preformance and issues with youtube. I think he should give it more time. ------------------------ UPDATE He has a video now that is a little unrelated and does't give more info into why he's deleting his channel but goes on to the problem with youtube. In very short summary he noticed a change in the percentage of where his views are coming from. 1 moth ago 62% of his views per video, give or take a few, were coming from the suggested videos bar. Fast forward to today, suggested views only make up .2% of his views per video. However, his overall channel views make up still consists of 30% suggested views. Turns out that youtube is suggesting really outdated videos for his channel. The second point he makes is that youtube is suggesting very illict content in the suggested tab. If you want to hear more about this, watch the last 1/3 of the video as I have actually not read all of the terms for the forum and I don't know exactly what I can say... UPDATE 12/9/16 Pewdiepie did delete a channel, but not the 50 Million subscriber channel. Instead he deleted an old account. Read More here: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/2016/12/09/worlds-biggest-youtube-star-pewdiepie-threatens-delete-channel/ It looks like it was all a joke, like maybe a 50 million sub special. Here's the video of him "deleting" his channel:
  8. Did people just not see this thread? I contacted nvidia support and they were also useless.
  9. 1. Unless you would try it on the new MacBook Pro, I think the card might be bottlenecked because of the thunderbolt 2 speeds vs thunderbolt 3. 2. An enclosure like the Razer Core will not work because there are no drivers. This is a trade-off you made with investing in Apple computers, you lose alot of your customizibility and almost all upgrade potential. That is there philosophy and you should be aware of it.
  10. You know you can just hackintosh. If you pick new pc components correctly, everything will be fine and should work normally. There are many guides online
  11. Ok thank you, I'll just try it out and just try a bunch of different things together. Thank you all
  12. Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to setup remote gamestream so i can stream outside my home network. Nvidia support was terrible and provided no answers. I saw screenshots for instructions on the old geforce experience but not the new one Ver 3.5.0.xx. Nvidia's website says there is now support for it without manual router configuration but there is no instructions on the website. I also just kept looking through geforce experience and also found nothing. What do i do?
