  1. Not me but a guy in my Lab. We had to do test with AD so we used Hyper-V to virtualize the server and some client. The guy put his physical machine on the domain and made a GPO to disable local login. He didn't realize how dumb it was before the day after when he had to reboot the machine ^^.
  2. These two are binded on the same port, just make sure to make a port forwarding with another port than 80 and specify this port when you try to connect through the internet ! Also is that a web interface that everyone should have access ? If not just make a VPN into your LAN, it's a lot safer !
  3. I never owned a 598s so I can't say wish is better. All I can say is that the M50X is made for the studio. So they have a very neutral sound signature and you have to use the equaliser to make it sound like you want.
  4. I've got some Audio Technica ATH-M50X. I'm really happy with them and they are often on sale. I've got them for 150€ instead of something like 200€.
  5. Linux doesn't mount NTFS partition with exec privilege by default because it consider it as unsafe. Try to mount the drive with" -o rw,exec " option or use other tools (as ntfs-3g) to mount it.
  6. Maybe your monitor is just not compatible with the definition of the BIOS. I had the same problem with an old screen that only accepts 720p. Just try on another screen if you can.
  7. Yes, that's what I thought. I will probably make a small PC based on a Mini ITX motherboard and an A4 or A6 AMD APU.
  8. Maybe you use your FAI default DNS. I had pretty much the same type of issue and simply change my DNS for Google's (8.8.8.8) solved the problem. I hope it will work for you too.
  9. Hello, I will have to change my TV setup in about a year so i already start to think about it now. Of course this setup will include a 4k TV. But what I’m the most concerned with is the home media player I will use. I would like to know if there is a single board computer on the market capable of holding a 4k video streamed on the network from NAS. Or if I better, better build a small computer running Linux. Sorry if my English is bad, it’s not my mother tongs but I do my best to speak it well ! So anyone got an idea? Thanks mates!
