  1. That makes it even worse! If I know something is not good or right I don't post it. If it's a build log sure go for it but I don't see that that is his intention. I'm not being a jerk. I'm pointing out the obvious. If you do something you do it right. And as I have said it need new paint and the PSU needs to be reseated to be straight so I criticized but also gave some feedback.
  2. Sorry but it looks terrible The paint job looks awful and the PSU is on there crooked and what happened with the SSD area?
  3. So I got FP in August of 2017 but I think I will not renew it. I still think FP is a great thing especially because most comments and the comment system on youtube is just crap but I just don't "use" FP that much to justify it. The money is not the problem I paid for a year so it was even cheaper but if I watch it on FP or youtube I don't care. I don't use the forum that often that it's worth ~25 €. So if I have to wait a bit to see SYW or other episodes I don't really mind. The whole behind the scenes up until now was nice but also not worth the money imho. But then if someone does comment on every video why not. Live and let live.
  4. Install an overlay like MSI Afterburner and look at CPU and GPU usage. When I run Diablo 3 with a 1950X@3,8 GHz and my GTX 1080@2,05 GHz I will only use about 70% of the GPU that means I'm in a CPU-limit. However with Supersampling at 5k the GPU will be at 100% hence I will be in a GPU limit. In other games I hit a GPU Limit at 1440p (native res). So the only one that can really say if you are in a limit is you. However if you can still use the computer and don't feel like it's to slow I would not worry.
  5. As I said, use thermal pads for ram and voltage regulators. Anything else is snake oil. High quality pads will work 10 times better than anything else.
  6. The iMac, PS4, etc. all use pre applied thermal paste with pads in the chipset or ram. In recent years they have gotten very good up to a point where I don't upgrade any of my electronics I buy from an OEM anymore as it just is not worth 3-5°C anymore. It used to be huge with up to 20°C difference. Some applications you just can't use paste as it will not bridge the gap from the chip to the heatsink, that is why there are pads with 0.5, 1, or 1.5mm thickness. So my advice for you is thermal paste for the GPU and pads for ram and voltage regulators.
  7. Well if you have a free sync monitor I would go with AMD however a 1080 (Ti) does the job very good at 1440p. I myself have a 1080 and Run Diablo 3 in 5k at 60 FPS. Everything else I run at 1440p.
  8. Hey, would it be possible to get the CAD file to the case?
