  1. I understand that fact , won't make the same mistake twice. But thing is , after i plug it in , for a brief second the scroll works , then stops again. Any ideas ?
  2. Hello! So , my mouse is a Razer Mamba TE , and it has been a good mouse for the last couple of months. Thing is , the scroll wheel suddenly stopped working. I can't scroll up , down , left or right , but the scroll click works. Weirdly enough , on a different pc ( a laptop ) , the scroll up and down was working , but by left and right ( so , tilting the wheel to the left made the page go down , tilting it to the right made the page go up ) , up and down scrolling didn't do anything either. Tried re-installing razer synapse , tried completely erasing it from Device Manager and restarting , tried plugging it in different ports , nothing seems to work. To note : it was not caused by something like a drop . It suddenly stopped working while i was scrolling through a webpage. Can still scroll via wheel-click and up-down with the cursor , but , given it is for gaming , it isn't really a great fix.
  3. It's not about that. The pc really does NOT power up sometimes . It's not like the old " fans power up but then nothing happens " , literally does not start . As to waiting between on / offs of the psu , it's usually around 1 minute off for the mobo lights to go down , and then i turn it on again.
  4. Description of the problem : After buying a new psu , a seasonic 1200xp3 , my pc sometimes does not boot. I press the startup button on the case , and it does not start. When that happens , i have to turn the psu on and off for a couple of times ( waiting around 1 minute for the mobo lights to turn off ) , and it will start up . To note , if i leave my pc open and it reaches the sleep state , sometimes coming back and pressing the mouse will power it back up , but other times , it will power up ONLY the peripherals ( the leds in my mouse , mousepad and keyboard start doing their rainbow-cycle ) , but not the pc. In that case , i proceed to shut down via the power supply and repeat the process described until it starts up. Components : Xp3 - seasonic 1200W 4x8gb HyperX Fury RAM 2800 mhz Asus gtx 980 ( oc'ed at 1560 mhz on core ) i7 6700k ( oc'ed at 4.6 ghz , small increment in voltage ) Asus Hero VIII motherboard Samsung 950 pro M.2 ssd 2TB hdd ( i think western black , but haven't checked on it ) Extra information : After it boots on , it's perfect. No crashes , stable oc's ( have tried stock too , overclocks are not at fault here ) , expected performance. It probably is a faulty PSU , but it'd be strange , considering everything is fine after i get over the boot part.
  5. Basically everything you need to know. TL;DR , yes , you get 2x4gb cards , you get only 4gb of memory . Cards in SLI or Crossfire work something like this : Consider a being the first card , b being the second card. Frames will be displayed as follows : a-1 b-2 a-3 b-4 a-5 b-6 and so on . Hell , sli is supposed to be a lot of problems. So , if you don't want headaches every new game and/or driver update , stick to a single piece of the best gpu you can get , instead of sli-ing weaker ones.
  6. Holy. Thanks man , you actually put a lot of work into that set. If there is a way of thaking you , let me know. Cheers.
  7. Romania. Some of those i couldn t even find , others where on untrusted websites. Trying to find them in my city is out of option , and using amazon or others might bring a fairly big tax
  8. If possible , could you link me a good all in one sort of system ? My country doesn t help with the picking of parts ( i can barely find the parts listed on there )
  9. Then i ll go for a full system i guess. So , really powerful bass . Pref 5.1 or 7.1 , don t really like 2.1
  10. Hi. So , as the title might suggest , i want a better listening experience . I have a logitech z906 system hooked up to my pc via optical cable(?) , and the sound is good and all , but I'd want something better . would i be able to use a different subwoofer with this system ? If yes , please give advice for a good one. If not , i m open to any other suggestions for better sound. Budget is ~1000$ , can get over slightly . Am a noob and not an audiophile . I consider seeing my phone running around on my desk because of the sub' power is awesome , so i'm looking for a heavy bass. Thanks.
  11. Readings might be wrong. As stated above , you should stress test it and see if it stays at 3600. If it does not even reach 3300 , it might be a terrible overclocker , even underclocking to be stable , so you could send it back. Also , try oc ing it yourself , and post a cpu z pic and a bios pic.
  12. Yes , depending on the motherboard , it will adjust your set voltage , making it higher . Unless the temps exceed 70 degrees in gaming (65C would be your aim, test something cpu intensive like gta V) , you can up the clocks. Voltage should be kept under 1.4(but my 6700k stock was automatically set to ~1.45 voltage by the mobo , and it was completely stable but too hot.)I personally keep mine at 46 with a voltage of 1.3 and max 55 degrees. Could go up to ~5ghz , but not worth it , i like my components to be cool.
  13. Bump ~ Problem still persists .
  14. Yes , triple-checked them. If it was a connector not being seated properly , simply turning on and off the psu wouldn't have worked.
