I think i just found a solution.. Disabling my second monitor fixed it.. LOL So, TIL, nvidia drivers sometimes have issues like this on 2 monitor setup.. IDK why or how, but it actually fixed it.

I only noticed this in Rise of the tomb raider, maybe because it's the only game I've been playing that full utilizes the GPU (?). But I used benchmarks such as Valley bench and Heaven, and this doesn't happen.. I don't know what else to do tbf..

I need help. I just bought Rise of the Tomb Raider, and so far I can't really play the game. Nvidia drivers won't let me! After 30 minutes of gameplay or something like that, game freezes, driver says it has shutdown and recovered, and I receive a message from the game saying "there was a problem with your video driver". Worse than that is the fact that when this happens, the core Clock of my GPU goes down to 535.6MHz and nothing I do will bring it back to normal, so I need to reboot PC and the clock comes back to normal. I already installed 10 DIFFERENT DRIVERS. Some from early 2015, some from the end of 2015, some from the beginning of 2016 and the most recent ones too. Nothing seems to fix this. Nothing! My PSU is totally capable of running this card since its a XFX TS 750W (it's new and totally not faulty). Also, the GPU is not overheating, since she only reaches 66ºC as maximum temperature (when I get this crashes sometimes she is even at 60ºC). I also tried changing nvidia's control panel setting to "prefer maximum performance", and nothing happens.. I tried to underclock the GPU 100MHz on core/memory clock, but the same happens.. Soooooo.. I really don't know what to do next.. I've tried everything, and I know for sure, it's not a hardware problem nor heat issues.. What can I do?!?

Hi guys, got something wrong going on here and I think I could use some help of someone here who understands about this better than me. So the problem is that every 8 minutes the image (while gaming/watching videos/whatever) freezes and I hear a "errrrr" sound coming. It happens only for not even half a second.. And after happening that time it lasts 8mins again without doing it.. But then, it happens again.. Does anybody every experienced something crazy like this? What could it be? It's really weird since it's like exact 8 minutes in between the "mini" crashes/freezes. Hope you can help me. Thank you all for the attention.

Hi guys, I got an HD7850 which im replacing in november-december, but for now im trying to extract every performance I can from her but I also don't want to damage her since she needs to last at least till the end of this year. My card runs at 1140mV by default at max., I unlocked the core voltage on msi afterburner and im testing it out. What is the max voltage I should use on this card? Is 1160mV safe? Need some tips and help here to not damage her.

Hey, is an HD7850 2GB still worth getting for 70 bucks?I got my rig all set up, but I'll be waiting till polaris/pascal arrive, and I can't play some basic stuff on 1080p with my hd 530 igpu.. so I was thinking on using/getting a "transition" card and then buy the upcoming cards.Note that I'll only be able to buy a new card by the time polaris/pascal arrives, since right now I don't have that kind of money available.I'm playing mainly:fifa 16cs gorocket leagueleague of legendsleft 4 dead 2crysis 1/2/3Some assassins creed / call of duty black ops saga.Res. is 1080p.Thank you.

hi guys got 2 options for my first ever pc build: i3 6100 + r9 390 or i5 6600 + r9 380. It's mostly for gaming, but I want to be able to multi task, like being on skype, listening to music/watching videos, being on facebook, while gaming..etc. What would you buy if it was you considering everything (future proofness /bottleneckings and all that stuff) Thank you!!

Hi guys, I'm here to ask a simple question, which I can't seem to find the answer. - Is it possible to run a stick of RAM clocked at 2666MHz on a motherboard that only supports 2133MHz max? Like, will it even boot? I'm asking cause I have an H110M mobo, but I'll upgrade later to an z170.. and I wanted to have the 2666MHz ddr4 memory already.. Will it boot and run at 2133 or it won't even boot? Thanks

Skylake i5 non-K Price/Performance
RuiFF13 replied to RuiFF13's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I got a XFX TS 550W. The mobo is an h110m pro-vh. Cause as I said, I'm trying to get the most out of my budget and spend a little more on the gpu. But Im also afraid of getting the cheapest i5 (6400) and it just go obsolete in a year or so.. -
Hi guys. I can buy: i5 6400 for 186$ i5 6500 for 209$ i5 6600 for 224$ Tell me, which one should I get, knowing that every dollar counts for me and that I want the most performance per dollar possible?! The pc is gonna be used for essentially for gaming (ill grab a r9 380 or r9 390 depending on the money i have left after buying the processor/ram (i got all the other components)). Thank you.

Hi guys, I've never used pc a lot, but I'll start using now. I'm stuck with a core 2 duo E6750 and 2GB RAM 'til this day, but I'll change that soon. I just bought a LGA 1151 skt motherboard/psu/ssd/case. Now I'll buy the RAM and CPU. The tasks I'll be doing are mainly working with a little photoshop and little gaming. Currently I only play cs:go, league of legends, left 4 dead 2 and pes 2016 (this all on a 1650x1050 monitor). Not heavy at all. I'll actually be using the cpu internal gpu to play those. I want to be able to watch to streams at max settings and watch youtube videos at 1080p + res. Beside that I want to be able to be in a game with spotify open and chrome and those kind of things. My question here is: Is an i3-6100 fast enough for this kind of things? Or will it eventually freeze/stutter if I start opening programs while playing the games above mentioned? I'm really on a tight budget.. Just wanna know if the i3 is capable of doing this things for me.. 'cause my e6750 cant even let me watch 720p youtube videos..lol
