  1. Hi, I just found this topic while searching for issues with my own laptop. I literally own this exact same laptop and have been experiencing the exact same problem: random power offs followed by it powering itself back on once or twice, shutting off again in the process, and then booting back up to windows normally. I've done so many things over that past few days to try and narrow down the problem and I'm at my wits end. One thing to note, it never shuts down in safe mode. Here is a link to a reddit thread I put up on r/24hoursupport that got no replies but I've updated a lot of what I've tried so far. I didn't know about the windows event manager and I'm perusing through it now and I'm only finding similar error to the original poster here (only critical event error is event 41) and not much info. I did however use GPU-Z to log info about my graphics card and when the shutdown occured, I checked the log and found nothing of note unfortunately. The temps were all nominal and there was no recorded voltage spike or anything. Anyway I'm curious why the person above me said that volmgr was the OP's issue. I have a single volmgr error listed in my log over the last 7 days, so I have a hard time believing that is the issue. And I'm looking for any kind of guidance anyone could give.
