IBM_THINKPAD_R51 got a reaction from Lurick in 4 fake Intel cpus at bestbuy
So we had a situation where there was 4 fake Intel cpus at our best buy,
    i7-12700
    3x i9-14900k

You can tell the markings on the ihs is fake it's not the proper type of engravings. We tested them in 4 motherboards and they all didn't boot

We had to get one from outside our inventory to get a real one

Watch out guys always test ur shit before the return period ends best buys is only like 14 days.

    Yes, the R930 exists.

There's also the VRTX if you want blades and storage in one chassis.

I'd build a cluster of three R730s first though. Clusters are fun.

So im the type of person to use all the power I can get so would an R930 (if one exists) use the same power as the r910 but have a shit ton more power?

Also looks like ima get 2 smart ups 2200va.

    Everything sounds better than Sony.

You are correct. However, I found the standard wire to be very scratchy (makes scratchy noises in the head phones). I bought another one for X2HR set. This is a life altering good cable, but kinda pricy: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BQSDQZB

I see, then the Fidelio X2HR is the best as it fits your requirement. It may look very big and chonky but it's very comfortable and it doesn't fall off your head easily.

Important to know: in the beginning it may be uncomfortable but that's because the earpads are new and stiff. It will definitly improve and then you'll even forget it's on your head. I speak from experience. And It will probably sound better than the Sony.

If i'm correctly, the X2HR comes with 3 metres aux cable. It can be detached too.

80% of the time when you create a new array the controller will initialize the array meaning that the data will be lost. ive had some random raid controllers here or there be able to copy over from one drive to another but thats an edge-case...id recommend backup up your data.

that being said most hard drives cant variably change their rpm so the HDD would just access the platters less often.

tbh id go with a 850W minimum with the rtx 3080. You said that the entire system shuts off with the intensive games right? well RTX 3000 is known for its 600W ALONE transient spikes of power that will trip a PSU's overcurrent protection/

Thats a very similar deal that my father got with an Asus motherboard and a 10900 for $300. He was really happy to get ahold of it. And tbh with you thats part of the reason why Microcenter has stayed afloat this whole time. If i where you id go with it. It will run circles around 4th gen. Yeah your right its has no upgrade path for the CPU but tbh if the cost is that much lower its worth it cause that build will eventually pay for itself since it would last a long time.

its not just about performance, its about the higher standards of testing the workstation grade hardware goes through, along with features you would not find on a consumer/enthusiast grade system.

IBM_THINKPAD_R51 got a reaction from Rifnix in GPU heavily underperforming and I don't know why...
the "OC edition" is just the same GPU but with higher clocks, it would be the same as EVGA's superclocked for example. as long as your 3080ti performs within like 10% of the ones you are comparing them too then it should be fine, assuming cooling in your case is good too/.

sorry for the late reply i had something to do. The screen connects physically via a USB C cable and it shows up as a COM device so its not just another screen.
