  1. Does it happen frequently or just while sutting down?
  2. Hey there. Today afternoon I did a post because my psu was failing me. Upon many tests I concluded that it is best to switch to something in the same price range. It is very important that I get a fast response since i'm going to the store tomorrow morning. At the moment I have a corsair CS650M and I'm having problems with the fan. Not only it is a common problem as the psu is not as good as I thought (according to the linus community and the web). You guys talked about the XFX and seasonic. In the store that I am going tomorrow I have the XFX 650W XXX Edition Bronze as the only alternative on stock. (https://www.pcdiga.com/2/8059/Fonte-XFX-Pro-850W-Core-Edition-P1-850S-NLB9) Is this a good power supply? Better than the CS650M? I also might (even though I didnt want to) consider buying the XFX Pro 850W Core edition (It seems a bit overkill on the wattage and its more expensive so I would only like to buy this one in case its really really worth it). Thank you guys for your time! TLDR; Need a replacement PSU for my Corsair CS650M Considering XFX 650W XXX Edition Bronze XFX 850W Pro Core Edition ( I would only like to buy this one in case its really worth it, because I wouldnt want to spend extra money). Please let me know if I'm not doing adequate choices. Thank you!
  3. What do you guys think about this psu? XFX 650W XXX https://www.pcdiga.com/2/8625/Fonte-XFX-650W-XXX-Edition-Bronze-P1-650X-XXB9
  4. Im not in the states, RMA is not possible here.. But as I bought this 12 days ago, and here in Portugal we have 15 days to give it back and receive the money in case something goes wrong, I was asking you if there was a better choice here (https://www.pcdiga.com/1/94/Fontes-Alimentacao) with a maximum of 104,89€.
  5. Could you please recommend me a psu from the website I placed when I edited the post? Or should I just get a brand new CS650M? I have 15 days to deliver the psu and get its value back in items from the store.
  6. Can you recommend me any psu from the website I posted in the original post please? Should I replace it for another one or should I just get an equal new one?
  7. Can you or someone tell me if that psu is good for the rig or if any other power supply is better suitable for it? I left a link in the post from the store I need to purchase it from.
  8. This is my gf's build. In my rig I have a CX for over a year now and I never had any problems. I can only recommend the CX750W I am using on my rig.. Any bets on how I can fix this?
  9. Hello everybody. Today I was using this computer normally and It started to do a very loud vibrant noise. At first, I didn't do anything, I just thought it was something random and it would go away but after 10 minutes, it kept doing the same thing over and over again.. It does a small continuous noise and then the psu randomly emits a much higher noise. I read corsair's forum and I tried changing many settings in the bios and nothing got it better. May be Useful: The power supply unit is almost two weeks old; It started happening 2 hours ago and it hasn't stop since then; A popup from the motherboard's driver said that the motherboard was 122ºC (which mas a missreading, because the bios and HW monitor were only displaying around 28ºC) (Because of this I tried scanning for viruses and malwares (just in case)); It's not convenient to take it to the warranty so it would be much better if we could find a solution here; Computer Specs: Corsair CS650M 80 Plus Gold Power Supply; MSI 380 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card; AMD FX 8320 3.5Ghz (Running at 3.8GHZ because it came from AMD Like that, I didn't change anything); Asus M5A97 LE R2.0; Here I will leave you a link from a video I have recorded just now: Please ignore all the background sound ( sorry for the microphone quality, it's not the best, was recorded with my cellphone ) I don't know if its perceptible in the video but it does a small noise in the whole video ( which didn't before this problem started ) (It's not loud at all, and maybe its normal ) The high sound spikes can be encoutered at the following seconds of the video above: 17 Seconds; 40 Seconds ( The volume starts slowy increasing untill it reaches its full noise ); 52 Seconds; The whole desk starts vibrating whenever it reaches its full noise. If you need any extra information please ask me. I need to solve this asap. Thank you very much for your time spend reading and trying to fix this issue! Edit: If I were to replace it (I have 15 days for a direct change in the store), which psu would be the most suitable? This is the store I purchased the psu from: https://www.pcdiga.com/1/94/Fontes-Alimentacao ; And I have 104,89€ for a PSU Final Edit: This is a common thing for the Corsair's CS650M so i will just replace it with an XFX XXX 650W Thank you for yoir time, responding all my questions.
