I was looking watching reviews for the laptop and noticed that in the LTT review, Alex mentioned it had USB 4 support and tried to use thunderbolt 10gig adapter. Maybe it didn't work because there is no USB 4 support. But both the spec sheet and the manual only say its Type C 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbit/s. i ask because both are in the same price range and has 6C/6T and is newer.

Too Broke.Price difference about 80 dollar. I want to use that money for the GPU.

GPU- I am thinking about getting a GTX 1660.(I have a 144hz monitor). I will not be needing storage as i have enough. I have no clue about motherboard, power suppy etc.

Issue:- I been playing overwatch for a long time and for a long time I been suffering from heavy frame drops. That's is, from 70 down to 20. I used amd logs feature to diagnose the issue and noticed that every few minutes the power level drops to 0 causing the frame drops. What I did:- Basically everything except a windows reset. That includes GPU driver reinstall using DDU. Underclocking, overclocking, under/ over volting.etc I am hesitant to do a reset because I did it once few months before and it didn't really help and it's really painful to reinstall all the software . Everything is updated. The issue occurs in other games too. I play on low settings. My diagnose:- It's some software issue. Because I did install overwatch via lutris on Linux and the game runs fine except a few drops rarely but thats like 5-10fps max. Specs:- i5 3320 (4 cores) Rx 460 8gb ram SSD to boot and run the game. I really want to exhaust all options before reinstalling windows. For people thinking why I can't just to linux. It's because one windows has lower latency, two works better with my gaming mouse, third display overclocking is possible in windows. Etc. If you guys want the log. The thing I want in the laptop are as follows *6 or more core CPU *GTX 1660 *High refresh rate and color accurate display (144hz IPS) *Light and thin * Good trackpad and keyboard *Type C thunderbolt port Even if all the things aren't available. Sent me the closest. Under 2000$

My questions *Does the 3600 justify the 100 dollar premium versus the 3500. *What difference does the extra 6 thread give. I do gaming, plus some photo editing in Lightroom, 3D modeling and coding using visual studio. *Which cheap motherboard should I go for? *Planning to combo it with a 1660 super. Any bottlenecking?

My FPS in games drop time to time from 70 to 40 for a few seconds and i noticed that the gpu usage is also low at that time. i am wondering what is causing this. RX 560 i3 3220 All latest widows and drivers. Game:- Overwatch. Medium settings with antialisacing off.

can this be fixed without replacing the motherboard

I meant its supposed to stand in an angle and it did not. instead it was flat like I didn't even need the screw.

I got a WB green m.2 ssd and was going to install it in my asus vivobook s14. I have installed M.2 before but this was strange as the slot just refused to take the M.2 easily. So I asked the IT guy to help and he was able to install it but I noticed that the M.2 ssd was standing in an angle but flat. then I booted it and smoke came out. Now the right side pin of the ssd is burned and right side of slot. I am wonder what was the problem and will I need to replace the slot. if so, can it done without replacing the whole motherboard.

Help I have a hp stream 11 laptop and recently reinstalled Windows and upgraded to Windows 10. But the trackpad won't work. I tried everything and it still doesn't work . Maybe I don't have the right drivers. The trackpad has no problems I booted linux and it works. Help

How do I find the SATA 3 port in mobo. Gigabyte something for i3 3220.
