Unfortunately, pixel devices do not support external connection to a monitor other than screen mirroring from having a pixel 7a right now.
 
Samsung uses an app called Samsung Dex which is built into the phone to support that and OnePlus as well.
 
Google doesn't seem to have anything on it either.

This is a good reason to always read a detailed specs site (like gsmarena) in addition to watching reviews.
 
Why don't reviewers mention this? Because frankly nobody plugs their phone into external monitors ("nobody" is relative to the number of devices OEMs sell). Samsung has the best experience, but even then DeX is still used by a minority of owners, and even Samsung doesn't allow DeX on all devices (older Flips can't, not sure about newest flip).
 
Casting/projecting your phone is definitely Google's preferred alternative to plugging it in to a display, even if it's a wors experience. 

I’d look at unraid. You can then set up separate VM’s for home assistant and any NVR’s you need. 

And you lost 2tb of its capacity, effectively making it a 10tb drive...
 
Now imagine if you had a mix of 1tb, 4tb, 8tb and 12tb. The array would be built using all of the drives at the smallest drive size of 1tb in zfs.

ZFS isn’t friendly to different sized drives. Unraid is the best option for this use case. 

Yes… it will work just fine. But if you have lots of different sized drives, you are greatly reducing the overall storage capacity of the array since a lot of the space on a lot of the drives will go unused…….
 
This is why unraid is very useful for folks who either are not financially able to build out a full vdev from day 1, or already have a bunch of mix matched drives.

My beef with this is that after CFL Intel goes down to 10 nm, so that requires a new socket, or that's what my limited knowledge is saying. If that's the case, CFL will require separate mobos for just 1 generation of CPUs. I know tick tock is no more, but still, people have to upgrade 200-300 $ motherboards so that they can have the next gen CPU?

Yes there are a good possibility that intel will support older LGA1151 motherboards because of good competition between AMD and Intel.

There are rumors that it is a completely new socket... so no... no 17x or 27x boards...

the 6x and 7x chipset for 2xxx and 3xxx, then the 8x and 9x chipset for 4xxx, the 1xx and 2xx for 6xxx and 7xxx series...

Your avg and max FPS are going to be great, your minimumfps (drops) are going to be worse than higher threaded CPU's.
But your games are FAR from unplayable.

I doubt anyone else will do as much of a price drop as Microcenter though. Microcenter is one of the highly coveted brick and mortar stores specifically because they tend to do a lot of walk-in-only sales or bundles that are that good.

Yes...  Isolation them with electrical tape afterwards to avoid anything shortening.  But I would not recommend you do it. 

You can, but make sure you insulate the ends so they don't come into contact with eachother. 

If you do, be sure to prevent shorting of the wires , i don't suggest it however.

Yeah I don't think you'd benefit at all from changing your motherboard. Just update the BIOS.

It's what the programmers program, simple. How many options their able to choose. If you a quantum computer you wont be limited to 1 and 0 or Yes and No, with a quantum computer it gives the possibility of "Maybe". I assume that means that you don't program the random generator to pick it, but it does answer yes or no anyway; thus maybe.

You will be able to run the game at higher settings and a higher frame rate but it will not change how hard it is.
