FXAA is the way to go honestly. Sure the textures won't look as nice but the performance hit is next to nothing and a good implementation of it has it very close to MSAA in terms of image quality. But at a lower performance cost.

I personally don't notice the difference unless I'm looking for it.

MSAA just doesn't justify it's performance cost.

Ehm, how are the keyboards ugly? They look like regular keyboards. Unless you are talking about the lightning.

Just curious since I find people who want keyboards to look like futuristic devices pretty hilarious.

My friend wanted a gaming rig for less than 500$. Requirements, it should run BF4 and Watch Dogs at 60 FPS on high settings.

Nvidia is more premium. Just look at the GTX 780 and Titan cooler. Then compare it to HD7970 and this abomination:

First of all, turn off HT. http://chipreviews.com/main-feature/main-news/frostbite-2s-limit-6-core-performance-in-battlefield-3/3/

Second of all, benchmark Crysis multiplayer. GPU usage and CPU usage there is great. BF3 just relies so heavily on the CPU (on 64 player) that it isn't even funny. Hopefully FB3 improves the GPU usage and actually makes use of the available power.

Third of all, FB2 is capped @ 200 FPS.

Doesn't BF3 use the HT threads if you have it enabled? Instead of the actual cores? I think it was the FB3 benchmark from alpha that allocated everything to the extra HT threads when HT was enabled.

    Edit: yea...

Deathadder. There is no other choice for FPS games. It has the best sensor by far. The only reason to buy something else is if the mouse doesn't sit well in your hands.

Well I have the Ducky keyboard aswell as the wristrest. I don't feel comfortable with regular keyboards though, so I was wondering if ergonomic keyboards would be a good alternative.

I also stopped playing WoW, but I honestly do not agree what's being said here.

    These are just horrible suggestions.
    1. Attunement was a pain in the ass, no one liked it. The content hasn't been nerfed either, they introduced easier content for casuals but the hard content remains exactly like it was. You don't see any random guild getting the world first on a boss.
    2. No, just no. GW2 did it right with scaling down your gear and keeping even low level dungeons somewhat challenging. But having different save files for each level? That's ridiculous.
    3. Again, no. Being dependent on other people for normal quest is the worst idea I've ever heard. Dungeons with challenging content and world bosses are the way to go, stopping you from doing random quests unless you have friends makes absolutely no sense. Anyone leveling a new character now wouldn't get past level 5.
    4. It's already limited. Raids have been limited to once per week since at least burning crusade.
    5. World PvP in WoW isn't world PvP, it's just ganking. I don't think there's any game that does Wpvp right, it's either ganking or it's no different from a battleground. And tbh I don't think it's possible to do it right, good wpvp implies both sides want to fight and that's rarely the case.
    6. This is the only good suggestion.

My mood on what frame-rate that is required to enjoy a game changes often. For instance, a few months ago I had a period where I only played old console games that ran at 30fps for several weeks, and my eyes adapted to such a low framerate that I considered it to be smooth. Then, when I got back into playing PC games and saw the drastic difference between 30 and 60, I started becoming spoiled again and refused to play anything below 55~ fps.

Consoles are for broke people and kids. I usually buy a console at the end of it's life cycle just to play the exclusive games it had. Basically I get it for so cheap it doesn't matter.
The whole "sit in the couch and play" argument is bullshit. You can easily do that with a PC aswell.
