  1. Big battery, expandable storage, nice buildquality. Plus it doesn't really suck in any departements, and that's probably the biggest thing about it. Outstanding features and no real drawbacks. Nice. AND it has a kickass skin on it. I would be proud to show of my LTT© alligiance.
  2. I have the M7, comin gform the HTC Legend, my first smartphone. I love what HTC did with Sence and how freakishly nice the phone looks and feels. The biggest plus to the new M8 for me is deffinetly the micro-sd card slot. I can't/don't want to choose what music i load ontoo my phone. I need dem gigs!
  3. Later that same day: Tried different PSU, resetting bios, different PCIe lanes and pretty much everything i can with what i have on hand. I got my 570 working again with some hastle, mashing F5 on my old craptop i used for making this entry. However, after opening up my browser on my PC, i got ssl and https verification errors left right and center. All of them stating that the certificates are invalid. Each error report stating from which date to wich the certificate was valid, which should have been my first clue. Done with today i looked everywhere. Reset my router a few times. Uninstalled the latest programms, my antivirus and chrome. Downloaded eset and firefox as replacements. My eset trial version had 1000 or so days left, wich should have been my second clue. After trying to dowload flash for firefox to get on youtube, the adobe site had some weired script error. It didn't show the dl button. I was at it for roughly 10 hours at this point. Just so done with all that bs. I tried updating java in case that helped, but i couldn't visit any https websites, wich made it all very difficult. Then out of pure luck, the error massage firefox gave me regarding the https certificate cought my eye. "...valid from 06. 01. 2014 to 05. 04. 2014, your current system time is 01. 01. 2011 10:36:45" All i could do at this point was to curl up on my bed and laugh/cry. I just spent 4 hours trying to figure out just what the hell was going on. Of course the system time reset, i took out the bios battery at least ten times to get that darn card working!!!!! Anyways. If any of you have an explanation as to why my board and or cpu aren't working with this GPU please enlighten me. But i am 100% done. Upgrading soonish to a newer gen cpu and a new chipset unless i can get this to work.
  4. been there done that card works with a different mobo/cpu "edit 1: i tried the card out in my brothers pc, wich runs the asrock z77 with an i53570k, and it runs just fine. soooo....is it my mobo? heard bad thigs about the p67 chipset, or is it my cpu generation and the 290 beeing a PCIe 3.0 card and the 2500k beeing a PCIe 2.0 cpu if i understand this correctly, wich i doubt at this point." I even did some gaming on it just to make sure it really does work. I wouldn't bee too salty about upgrading to a more modern cpu platform, be it intelor amd, waitig on mantel numbers to decide. And i kind of want to get rid of my HUGE Bitfenix Colossus and move to a mATX case like the Silverstone FT03...god does that case looks amazing! But teh moni doe...
  5. I can enter the bios, but only with my gtx 570. Also there don't seem to be any graphics card options in ASRocks uefi. I suspect "consolce output devices" to be a graphic output of some kind, and since there is no onboard graphics with my chipset, it can't boot without a way to display anything maybe? I just tried booting without ANY graphics installed. No GPU and because its p67, no onboard graphics. It made some terrifying beeps, showed the code D6 - no console output devices found, and just booted after that. I am out of ideas. I guess i have to change my motherboard/cpu (i hate this motherboard, keeps giving me trouble)?
  6. My asus r9 290 directcu2 oc 4gb came in today, as an upgrade for my msi gtx n570. My PC: i5 2500k, currently at stock speed ASRock p67 Extreme4 revision3 2x4GB G.Skill Ripjaws Corsair GS800 Watt PSU Samsung ssd for programms wd red for media And my 570, wich is soon to be retired. I dowloaded the amd drivers, shut dow my pc and swapped my gpus. Instead of booting i got error code 97 on my Dr. Debug display on the motherboard, wich means "console output devices connect" according to my mobo manual. Google wasn't much help either. I also tried clearing the cmos with the dedicated button at my rear IO and by taking out the bios battery for a couple of minutes. As i switched back to my 570 to see if it was the 290s fault, it wouldn't post for the first few tries, but after the 4th attempt it just did. So i switched back to my 290 but nothing changed. I am about to test the 290 in my brothers tosee how that goes. I really don't want to RMA this card. was waiting almost a month to get one  what exactly does that error mean? edit 1: i tried the card out in my brothers pc, wich runs the asrock z77 with an i53570k, and it runs just fine. soooo....is it my mobo? heard bad thigs about the p67 chipset, or is it my cpu generation and the 290 beeing a PCIe 3.0 card and the 2500k beeing a PCIe 2.0 cpu if i understand this correctly, wich i doubt at this point. My head is on fire
  7. unfortunally, this did not help, my windows installation seemed to be corrputed somehow. none of the commands worked, i always recieved the same error massage (command spelled wrong or not found, or something like that) i ended up reinstalling windows 7without the old drive hooked up to my motherboard, and i can boot just fine since then. none the less, thank you very much for that fast reply!
  8. okay, here's my story i recently bought a Samsung 840 500gb ssd, not the pro one, to run all of my programs, and for the time beeing my media files aswell, since all of that only took up about 300gb. so i plug in my ssd via the included usb-->sata/sata power to the front usb3 port. (ASRock p67 extreme4 with a i5 2500k) the inluded drive cloning software from samsung failed to copy my old hdds files, and after some research, i figured it must be becasue the source drive size should be smaller than my ssd, wich wasn't the case here, i used a samsung HM641JI (capital i) 640gb, that i scavanged from a broken laptop after my initial hdd broke, and becasue that was during the flooding in southeast asia i couldn't afford a new one. i gave up on trying to clone my old hdd, and just reinstalled win7 home premium on my new ssd, aswell as drivers, some programs etc. i had to fiddle with the BIOS a little, becasue i plugged it intoo a marvel controlled sata3 port, so i had to chamge my settings to Marvel sata3 bootable. after shutting down my pc i pluged it into an intel controlled port, and here we are, at the real problem: i had my old hdd plugged in all the time, becasue i had to copy my old media files. everytime i start my pc, it tells my that i have multiple os installed, and i have too choose between win7 and win7. i know wich one the ssd is and wich one my old hdd. i removed the old hdd and my pc failed to detect an os or something like that. i always gor the same error message: "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key". i have my ssd set as my primary boot device, and my old hdd is not even a boot option. both drives are porperly detected in the bios, and i can boot from both withouzt any problems. it is just that as son as i remove the old drive, i cannot boot my pc anymore without manually selecting the os, wich is rather annoying. help me please!
