I need to find a graphics card/ graphics cards for m new setup. I have 6 dell monitors with both DVI and VGA inputs. I can add as many cards as I need as long as it fits in my budget ($300) and I would be interested in buying used if I have to. The main thing is that I have to edit on them. Main questions: Would it be possible to buy an amd eyefinity 6 or firepro 600 card (6 outputs each) for the outputs and have another card (nvidia/amd) to just process graphics/ render? Could I even mix amd and Nvidia I would only be doing light gaming (mostly minecraft, but i may go to more intense games in the future) and I do a lot of autodesk inventor, and after effects. I also will be day trading stocks

how would you go about updating the bios if you are using the 4820k? Would I need to borrow a 3820k? I already have the MSI x79a gd45 plus (my cousin gave me his old one over Christmas (I live in Wisconsin, he lives in south Illinois, not worth the 6hr drive for a bios update)) Just curious as is my first build, and yes this is a bit extreme for my first, but I got the mobo free, so why not use it???

I need to know if the new Ivy Bridge-E 4820k would run in the MSI x79a gd45 plus? I know some mobos need a bios update, and i have the update on a flash drive already. Just wanted to know what i needed to do before i buy a cpu. do you think I could go to bestbuy or a local pc shop to flash the bios, or buy the 3820k. The 3820k is only $20 CHEAPER SO I WANT THE BETTER ONE. Thanks!

Hey guys, i was wondering what a good, slightly overkill, build would be using MSI motherboards. I wass thinking about using a big bang xpower but i cant find it anywhere. I did come up with this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1ufmU it is a bit expensive, but i would probabaly cut out some ram. I do not need to buy a case. I have a really nice (cheapo, older) case. I had found that MSI has problems with their amd boards, which sucks because i like their products, so do some research. be careful!!!

hey guys, I am planning a new build. It has too run an AMD FX 8350, have at least 4gb ram, and have great fps while gaming, and (slightly better then beginner, but under experienced) video editing and photoshop along with some autodesk inventor cad stuff. What I have so far: AMD FX 8350, 8gb Hyper X ram (1600mhz), and a OCZ ModXtreme Pro 700watt power supply. What i need help with are the motherboard and graphics cards. my 2 motherboard ideas are GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD5 and ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 (the mobo cannot exceed 180 dollars) and the graphics card. I have chosen the evga geforce 650ti boost 2gb, which is at my budget of 170 dollars. just want the best quality, with minimal bottleneck. I suspect i will overclock video card ram and cpu thanks for your help in advanced!!!!

Just my 2 cents but I think what gets people is that America is "a free country" and that their privacy should be respected. What gets my friends is that no one "owns the internet" and that the government should trust its own citizens. Personally I don't care much. If you want to be "watched" switch to a sketchy release of linux and use tor. That's all you can do. It's not like they are going through search history like " Oooooo, look at this guy! he watches tons of porn!" no they are looking for information on possible future terrorist attacks. I don't think this is a good idea but I don't despise it either. With out the government there would be no internet. In a way the government does own the internet. They started it for God's sake!

i have an old asus mobo and i plug it in and it wont turn on. all the lights are on, but none of the fans spin up and the monitor doesnt go on. I am at a loss. Any knowledge of older asus motherboard fixes?

my friend is getting into video production and he wants to build a computer for this. he wants to do video editing with after affects and he will do some gaming. His budget is 1000usd any ideas for a custom build?

any good desks for gaming. i have a low budget and almost any tool to make my own. I would much rather make my own "customized" desk. if you have built your own desk, can you tell me whats good about yours and whats bad. I want to have the "perfect" desk. Thanks!
