I see, thank you for letting me know. I probably won't be able to access another GPU, not even to borrow - mainly why I thought it'd be ideal to ask here instead. Is there anything else I can do? The GPU is due an upgrade but I don't have a ton of money floating around if this issue can be resolved.

Hey guys, I encountered a strange problem today. My system that has been flawlessly working for 3-4 yeas wouldn't show any display this morning. As a result, I started normal troubleshooting. I assumed it would be the GPU but tested it last and it was indeed the problem. I then unplugged the GPU completely, connected the HDMI cable to the motherboard and the system boots and displays as normal. I tried a different monitor, cables etc and still, everytime the GPU is plugged in the system will not show any display. Even if he HDMI cable is connected to the motherboard, but the GPU is conencted to the PSU, the system will still show no display. Atter troubelshooting it became clear that if the GPU is recieving power, the system will simply not show any display. As a note, if this means anything - the GPU can be plugged into the motherboard without being connected to the PSU and display does work when the HDMI cable is connected to the motherboard - not sure if this is helpful information for any reason. Does anybody have any idea why this is? Some sort of Bios settings (Even though it worked fine last night and flawlessly for years)? Is my GPU fried? Hey, thanks for the tip, I'll purchase this now and hopefully it fixes the issue. I only purchased my one because they all seemed to be "3Mbps" rate. Will this new device improve anything specific over my old device? (So I know in the future what I'm looking for). I assume the advice from Windows about purchasing a Soundcard or needing to upgrade my PC is a load of crap?

Hey. No other inputs showing on PC. Only; Microphone (Realtek High Definition Audio) & The Headset Audio (Which is worse than default Audio on both the Surface and PC). I thought the CPU didn't matter but I was told by Microsoft support (lol) that I need to update my CPU or purchase a soundcard. At the moment the bluebooth is connected via a USB dongle extension. Hello everyone, I just bought the Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC. Using it via Bluetooth and has been great. It works perfectly on my Windows Surface Pro 6 but seem to encounter a problem on my PC. I have done a few interviews and Discord/Skype calls and have been tld my voice is perfect via my Surface but sounds robotic and dreadful via my PC. The only difference I have found is; Laptop input = Microphone Array (Realtek High Definition Audio SST) PC input = Microphone (Realtek High Definition Audio) I thought maybe my voice was coming through the surface itself and not the headset mic, however I went down stairs away from the surfce and the voice still worked while I was quite some distance away from the Surface. My PC specs if this makes any difference; Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz Asus Z97-K Intel No sound card (If this makes a difference) Surface specs: Surace Pro specs:Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz, 1800 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor I know the CPU is much better on the Surface, but would this cause mic issues? Considering my old Razer Kraken Pro had 0 issues (But it was wired). I have tried to update the drivers, search for windows updates etc but no luck.

I'm 6'4 and I've been through quite a few chairs, I have found NobleChairs to be by far the best of the bunch. I'm not sure how widely avaliable they are in the US (I assume from your location & dollar currency) however, if possible, I would advise looking into them. I'm not an expert but I couldn't recommend it enough. Hope you find something that feels right for ya'

Thank you for your suggestion. Also, the G903 does look great. I think it'll end up being a 1 wire keyboard and probably the G903 or the G502 at this point. Thank you. It'll be the G903 or the G502 - just waiting for some extra reviews of the new G502. Unfortunately, that's true, and it looks likely it'll have to be a single wire keyboard and a wireless mouse. However, thanks very much for your input.

Hello, everybody I'm feeling quite a drastic switch up of my setup. At least, attempting to try and get rid of as many wires as possible - starting with my keyboard and mouse. I've been going through quite a few wireless keyboards/mice, but none have captured me, unfortunately. The current mice I've been investigating are along the lines of the Logitech G903 & G502. The G903/G502 seems to be the best gaming mouse I’ve found, but If anybody has any other suggestions, I would love to hear them, as I’m not expert of wireless technology and if this mouse is as good as I think it is. The main problem I’ve encountered is finding a keyboard. I’ve had the Razer Black Widow Ultimate 2012 Original for quite some time, and I love the Blue Cherry MX switches, and would much prefer to find a keyboard with Blue or Silver Cherry MX switches, also hopefull 80% (Though 80% isnt that important, but that's the minimum I'd go for) However, finding a keyboard that’s; wireless, has CheryMX blue/silver, 80% and doesn’t look like a spare part from a transformer has proven quite difficult. Does anybody have any recommendations of sites - or even more specific, keyboards you’d recommend that might met the criteria? (Or if anybody would recommend against going wireless – as some people have mentioned connectivity issues or the time it takes to respond to clicks or keytaps)

Hey, I did check this originally, but unfortunately not. It cannot switch out antennas. If you have any recommendations of routers I can purchase I would be very happy to check them out. I did try and move it around and slightly increased the signal strenght, and with the added network card there has been quite an improvment, I can feel less lag, too - which is a great sign already. However, if you do have any other hardware such as an improvement router I can look into to further the progress I would much appreciate it.

Thanks for taking the time to help. Hey, that's good to hear, hopefully it'll save me a bit of money if I don't have to purcahe another router. I have purchased the Wifi card you originally mentioned and once this arrives, I shall be moving the PC around and attempt to hopefully find a more reasonable signal. Right now, the router isn't even on the same floor. It's on the bottom floor, with the PC being on the third floor, but it is in the open space and on top of the highest ornament in the room, I noticed a small improve when I originally did this. I'll also download this app and keep you updated, hopefully if it doesn't improve, you'll be able to recommend potential routers. I appreciate you taking the time to help me out!

Hi, thank you for your response, and you're right, but I'm not really looking to run flawlessly, just attempt to improve the connection. The router is as follows, supplied from Vodafone; Model: HHG2500 Power Rating: 12V https://gyazo.com/09759b15a34037ba98d823eaafb33832 If the router is bad, which I assume it is, what would you recommend? I will also look into purchasing the new network card if you think this will assist with a new router. Although, the price isn't too much of a problem, the budget is more towards £200-£250 if you have other recommendations for routers or other network cards.

Hello, I'll try and get straight to the point without trying to overcomplicate the issue. I have moved and the internet is quite reasonable, however, I'm unable to connect via ethernet (It's just not possible) and I'm reasonably far away from the router, as a result, the signal I'm getting is poor. I downloaded a Wifi Analyser and it has shown poor connection, I've also had multiple problems with the network in regards to playing games and having constant lag and when doing diagnostic with Blizzard (WinMTR) and has shown my connection is averaging 1100ms https://gyazo.com/40a9801c049561989d00cda1d16cfd9c When I have directly plugged the laptop into the router via the ethernet (I use the PC far away and it's not possible to use ethernet) I don't have any issues. Hey. I was hoping for quite a small laptop, possibly around 13 (Like I said below 15 would be ideal but it just seems a bit too big). In terms of the display, not that important. The battery life however, is pretty important. Most days I will be finding myself out at 10am'ish and returning around 4-5pm and using the laptop pretty much all day and on the way home. Something that, if you have any experience in regards, could be editting large software IDE applications and multi tasking with the browser open too. I did look around, moreso and Linus reviews, and he seemed extremely impressed with the LG Gram, do you have experience with this device or a specific recommedation? Thanks again! I was more hoping for around 13inch. I wanted to be able to put it in a small bag easily and take up little space on lecture tables as they aren't very big at all, and I took my current 15inch to the open seminar and it was clunky and felt far too big for the small tables. At home I do use two monitors so I thought I'd struggle a little with a 13inch, but the 15inch is just unfortunately too big.

Hey, I'm starting a course in comp sci this year and I've already done some coding on my current laptop (ASUS x550CA) but I often feel sluggish (Quite outdated now) and it's a pain to carry around. I'm wondering if anyone else, doing similar courses or just in your free time (Mainly using eclipse, netbeans, visual studio, minor p/s editing) and in regards to web dev, running quite a lot of tabs, including filezilla and IDEs and my current laptop just isn't cut out for it. Anyone have any recommendations or in a similar position? I did some research and was intrigued by the Windows Surface, but the newer models pricing around $1300 seemed quite excessive. My current laptop is also 15.6 inch, so I was thinking maybe around 12inch (Anyone recommend higher or lower?) Thanks in advance

Hi, guys I'm not too great in terms of laptops or their batteries. However, I'm looking on purchasing a new battery for my Asus 550c. It currents has a 2200mAH battery, so I'm looking on also upgrading this with the new battery. Should I consider going for a 5200mAH? Or higher if available. Does anyone have a resource to view rough estimates of how much each upgrade will improve the the length of up-time?
