  1. Hi, I just bough this Chinese keyboard off of a website in my country and I can't turn off the fn Lock on my keyboard. I have tried everything online and I just can't turn it off. What's frustrating is that my escape key is the browser home key and i can't even press escape anymore. It's a Chinese Bluetooth keyboard modeled: BK3001BA
  2. Well, the i7 6th gen processor alone costs around 450 dollars and i'm not even talking about the K series. i7 4th gen processor is around 350$ and I'm getting the i7 4th gen for around 240$.

  4. well 500+ dollers for the i5 build and 400+ for the i7. Excluding Graphics card. Which is much needed.
  5. I have a workload that an i7 should be able to handle seamlessly. I have to work on UNREAL Engine and my job is to design levels for my studio. With additional tweaks on audio and surroundings. Gaming is also part of the deal. And I need a system that can remain for a long time and provide sufficient power (For atleast 3-5 years).
  6. But how can I check how well my cpu will perform or my entire system will even last. Is there anyway I can find out how long my cpu will last or how well does it perform?
  7. But I'm really afraid that my cpu might retire earlier then the life span a new cpu can deliver. Is there anyway that I can be sure of how long or how well my second hand CPU could perform?
  8. The budget is quite low. And getting an i5 will cost me more anyways. I will have to collect more money for a graphics card. I don't really mind ddr3. I could still use it and be satisfied because my projects are more graphic intensive. Need that graphic card and hyperthreading.
  9. Should I get a sixth gen i5 6600 or should I get a used 4th gen i7 4970k. I'm getting the whole i7 setup (the entire system) for about 400-450$. Is it worth buying or should I go for the newer parts instead for a long lasting experience?
  10. Is there anyway i can tell how much its been used. Like in apple products i think there are cycles or somethings that ditermine how much it has been used in total.
  11. Should I run these tests with or without my graphics card?
  12. I live in Pakistan and here shipping taxes can cost upto a 100$ so my wallet can't handle that kind of stress.
  13. What if it's faulty? Is there any software that can determine its life. And what about motherboard? Should check for something specific in the motherboard or just deal with stock one?
  14. I have this computer store nearby who is selling an i7 4790 for 300$ (the whole setup with ram and hard drive the whole setup.). But its second hand. how do i know if its ok to buy it or how much it was used before my purchase and if it is even worth it? Is it possible to check stuff like this?
