Isn't that the dirt cheap stuff I've seen on amazon for like 3$? How does it perform? 

Gonna find out. It was $2, free if you count the leftover Amazon gift card I used on the paste and a cheap-ass LED fan. I intend to test it on locked CPUs, overclocked CPUs (but not my 4790K), GPUs, hot dogs, salads, as hair dye, possibly to see if it works to lube a squeaky wheel on a bicycle, maybe squirt it onto a wasp nest and see if it kills them. The possibilities are endless.

I can never get paste out of my fingers, I'm curious to see how well the hair dye session will go 

I'll let you know what my wife has to say. I've already squirted some into her shampoo and turned it a lovely silvery-white color.
