If you were to upgrade, there would be some noticeable difference but probably not too too much.

NoRomanBatmansAllowed got a reaction from J.b091 in Password Managers
lastpass works well enough for me. Don't know if it's too secure, but I just store my "whatever" account passwords on there. They've got really nice cross-platform capabilities, good extensions, and easy strong password generation.
Bank, paypal, any account info related to money I would never trust to be sent to someone else's machine unless I'm buying something from them.

NoRomanBatmansAllowed reacted to jakep0802 in Revised Tech News Posting Guidelines
Personally, I don't think this should be a rule. If I am right, I don't even have 100 posts, yet I could find something extremely important and not be able to post it because I don't meet the quota. That being said, I am a fairly good writer and could actually make a great news post, but not have it read because of the minimum posts requirement. Although, maybe have Tech News posts read over by mods before it goes public to make sure it does meet the requirements and is relevant?

NoRomanBatmansAllowed reacted to dizmo in Revised Tech News Posting Guidelines
The problem with most of those posts is likely that the people don't read the Read Before Posting section..so..this won't really fix that.
Disallowing news that happened weeks ago might not be a smart move, as it could have simply been missed by the forum.

NoRomanBatmansAllowed got a reaction from Max_Settings in Prediction: RTX Cards Are Barely Faster Than Pascal
I'm seeing intel refresh level improvements, if that.
This is mainly a push for devs to use Ray tracing more, after which the cards will fully shine.

Personally, I want to stay away from using the 3.5mm jack on my motherboard. Primarily has to do with my workflow.
I'll look into the former.

NoRomanBatmansAllowed got a reaction from PlayStation 2 in Can I use a 450va UPS for my 600W PSU PC?
Doesn't really matter what UPS you use (at least on a daily basis).
So long as there's enough time to shut down safely you're all fine.

NoRomanBatmansAllowed reacted to WoodenMarker in How much power will my system draw?
The system pulls ~200w at load.
You can see power draw benchmarks online:

NoRomanBatmansAllowed got a reaction from Tyler Moore in Ethernet connection being capped at 10 mbps
It's either:
Your router is limiting it on purpose - change a setting.
Your computer's ethernet jack can't handle 100Mbps - get a new computer
The wire that you're using is too old - update to a newer one.

NoRomanBatmansAllowed got a reaction from Teddy07 in R9 270x and i3 2120 bottleneck?
I'm guessing you watched the video today.
It shouldn't really, depending on what you do. But remember there is always a bottleneck in any system, otherwise there would be infinite performance.
