  1. Howdy, Before I begin, this was a used Meshify c with a few dings, scratches and cracked window. This is my first attempt at modding and truth be told I cut corners, jerry rigged and slopped stuff together. At the end of the day I had a lot of fun! First picture: aluminum side door with felt to hide the bad spots I left with the dremel. I had some stickers - decided to put on the extrusion because this will be a non rbg build when finished. This is Mnpctech modders mesh with aluminum tape along the sides. Underneath is a custom magnetic demciflex dust filter. Every cavity has been filled, this is the only way air gets in case. Top and bottom of case has also been sealed. (3) 140mm fans Noctua fans built in the plastic front bezel of the Meshify C case, also the bezel is jb welded to the case for 1 solid piece. Any graphics card will fit. Back exhaust fan is a 140mm Noctua, also 2nd Noctua D15 fan will fit with any ram kit. Top with custom handles and wooden dowel rods. Modders mesh at the front needed velcro on top and the dowel rods provided height. (Look at picture 2) USBC added with original Meshify C assembly for custom top mount. 2020 hindsight, I would of did a lot more planning but overall I'm happy. The new meshify cases are awesome and I would of bought one of those, however I had to get this project done regardless.
  2. I mean do they make a all in one that has USB/Power on switch? Sorry for confusion
  3. Picked up a Meshify C non TG for $10 (power switch does not work/no fans) with a few dings, scratches here and there. Planning to redo front case usb header/power on switch with new interface to support usb 3.1 and usb 3.2 gen 2 type c. Would look like this with additional power button switch. Does a all in one power on switch/usb interface exist like the pic below? I know Fractal has D1 but does not include several parts.
  4. Reviving this post to say I got this PSU for $135 new in box. So far all the parts acquired has been on sale! ?
  5. Hi, Using a gen 3 2tb NVME drive for gaming storage only while gen 4 1tb for boot only. Would the gen 4 drive revert to gen 3 speeds? CPU : 3900x Thanks
  6. Only parts acquired is Noctua D15 /Noctua 140mm x4 / 32 gig ddr4 Samsung b die / 2tb SSD m.2
  7. I was building up for 10940x/10980xe, until AMD wiped the floor with them. In some instances the 9980xe even beats it out probably due to security fixes. Always rolled with Intel, but this launch was disappointing.
  8. Honestly I'm just getting quality parts over a yearly time period to put together at the end of 2020. What I'm shooting for is a Zen 3 Ryzen 4950x. Since that is the end of AM4 socket that would be perfect for me and I'm hearing atleast 10% increase over Zen 2.
  9. Is their a new revision of this power supply? Google search shows that this model was released in 2013. Does anyone have any bad experiences with this psu? Are the cables decent? Now before you ask why a 1200w and not a 850w? I feel safer with a bit more oomph than needed and longevity - also multi rail. Thanks
  10. Thanks for the heads up, maybe it will appear again.
  11. HP EX950 M.2 2280 2TB PCle Gen3 x4, NVMe1.3 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) 5MS24AA#ABC Anyone familiar with this ssd? Does not come with heatsink. Earlier today was $209 on Newegg and wondering is that a good price for this unit? Not familiar with new tech. https://www.newegg.com/hp-ex950-2tb/p/N82E16820326181?Description=hp ex950 2tb&cm_re=hp_ex950_2tb-_-20-326-181-_-Product
  12. Never overclocked ram, and I've read up that it can be messy. However trial and error is part of the fun too... until something bad happens. ? Hopefully the kit isn't binned, sticker on the back says 10/19 so you're probably right. I also read that Samsung is phasing out B-die, chose this just incase.
  13. Anyone familiar with this ram? Compatible with Zen 2? Whats the max overclock potential with 2 kits? (4x8) 2x8gb 3600 15-15-15-35 part number # F4-3600C15D-16GTZ
  14. I'm just another idiot needing confirmation. Corsair AX850/AX1000 titanium on the list? I believe it came out earlier this year. I see AXI and earlier model AXs. Thanks
  15. Ahoy Asrock Z390 Phantom mitx mobo has 2 fan headers: system and cpu only. I'm thinking of getting D15, with 3 other Noctua fans. Would it be possible to have a fan controller connect to mobo, but I can still adjust thru mobo bios/software? Thx
  16. Will the NANO S also fit a regular atx power supply as well while 2080ti and D15 is both in case? Or will it only take a SFX Power suppy? @Vejnemojnen I'll check that datasheet out, thx.
  17. @SpookyCitrus Yes 3 fan 2080ti for extra cooling, will also check out Gigabyte mobos @Genwyn I will look into the Nano S Thx for the suggestions!
  18. Ahoy lads and laddies I'm looking for the smallest form factor case that will house a 9900k, noctua d15, atx power supply, and full size graphics. While the case is small, the airflow remains superb. Reason for small case? Easy to move, go places! Also please recommend a Z390 mobo, I usually role ASUS.... After bad reviews regarding VRMs I'll choose differently. Thanks
  19. Thanks for the help I might hold out for 3700x AMD @ 5 ghz - should work well on 1080p 240hz also the extra cores for future proof.
  20. Task would be atleast 240fps in all games. Low settings is fine too. Anyone here rocking a 6700k and a 240 hrz monitor?
  21. Thinking about upgrading videocard in near future to 2080 non ti and getting 240 hrz monitor. Can the 6700k handle it or bottleneck? Thx
  22. Was confusing, usually I use a usb drive to put on new BIOS. Thanks for the clarification. Cheers
  23. Hello, Just finished watching the latest WAN show and heard the news on Intel's ME flaw. My PC was flawed but its patched now. My question now, when formatting, must I do this step everytime afterwards or just this one time?
