  1. I'm using an R7 360 and I want a Polaris card because the fan noise on my card is so freaking loud when I'm gaming.
  2. If you look at Best Buy, they usually have weekly sales on stuff like that. It's usually marked down a lot in the weekly deals. It does look like a good deal though.
  3. It depends; if you need a lot more cores, then AMD is better. If you just want to game on it I think the Intel one would be better.
  4. I have a 500 GB hard drive lying around so I'll use that.
  5. So I want to build a budget gaming PC this summer and I've created two different PCPP builds, one with a Core i5-4690K and one with an FX-6300. I want to know which one would perform better in games. I looked on cpuboss.com and they rated the i5 much better. Here's the builds: i5 FX
  6. I got a Sandisk Cruzer from Best Buy that's USB 3.0 and 64 gigs. It was a weekly deal so it was about $18 US. I'd recommend the ultra one because it'd be harder to lose.
  7. That Kiro looks real nice because right now I'm rocking a Dell one lol.
  8. So I'm going to ask the age old question: are Nvidia cards actually better than AMD ones? I know that the higher end cards get similar performance, but has anyone actually been able to notice a difference when gaming? And do all the fancy gameworks sdks make games with these technologies prettier? What do you guys think?
  9. I would say get a smaller size SSD like 120 or 240 and if you need more space use a 2.5 inch hard drive. Also maybe get an R9 390 instead of 390X because there isn't too much of a performance difference.
  10. I have a Dell Inspirion 3521, with 2.4 GHz wifi built in. I don't have any range issues and my router is pretty close to me.
  11. Hey. The wifi on my laptop is so much wore than on my phone and Chromebook. We pay for 22 mbps internet and get it on other devices, but my Windows 10 laptop from about 3 years ago, gets .8 mbps. I didn't find any new drives so do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks!
  12. Update: I have found that my router doesn't have any issues, this model just has horrible range. I chatted with their tech support and they confirmed this.
  13. Looking for a new router? This might not be the answer! lol So this is a $70 802.11n router that works okay(at least for me)in my ~1470 sq. foot house. Speeds on the N600 are far better than the router that came from my ISP(which is AT&T), mainly because of the huge difference in wireless technology. The Good USB 2.0 port on the back is great for effortlessly putting in a flash drive and sharing the storage on the network on most operating systems. I have tried it on Windows 10 and Ubuntu 15.10. The router's design is great, so you won't feel the need to hide it away in your entertainment center. 4 Ethernet ports for lots of wired connections 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and Guest bands are nice The Web UI is pretty easy to work with no matter your skill level. Easy setup The Bad HORRIBLE radius (like seriously bad) Web UI doesn't give you many advanced options Web UI is slow to apply settings The Conclusion The N600 DB is great if you have like a tiny apartment, but not a house. My small one story house has bad connection where it even drops out at the opposite end. Everything else about this router is great, but I definitely can't recommend this because of its radius. Thanks for reading!
  14. tbh, I like this configuration. I'll probably go with this. Thanks!
