  1. Unfortunately i think its beyond the two year mark but i'll look into it.
  2. Yup i have tried. I should add that i have also tried the keyboard on several PC's.
  3. Just the K70, the other one was just to experiment with to see if was a windows problem, thats when i noticed the lock on/off lights.
  4. Hello all, so this morning i booted up my PC and my K70 does not respond at all. Lights turn on, windows recognizes it, corsair software does not. It seems to be bricked in a sense or in a safe mode or something. Or its just busted but... Furthermore i tried doing a 'soft reset' The hold Esc while you plug it in in both 1 mode and BIOS, actually all modes for that matter. Anyhow what do you guys think? Also is there some kind of physical reset button or some way i can reset the firmware? (note the software is not recognizing it). One last thing i noticed that if i plug in a second keyboard while the K70 is still connected i can turn off and on the lock key lights on the K70, and i seems like the number lock always comes on when it is plugged in again, though it was on when this happened so it might be stuck on till the firmware or whatever this is resolved. Thanks!
  5. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this but i was hoping for someone whom might know what to do or have heard of this malware. So basically i'm not sure when but someone in my house clicked on an email that was labeled utopia.net(although there are varying claims on who claims on who got the virus first). So it could have been an ad or some other form of delivery ad bundle etc..I first noticed the malware when the connection in the household was temporarily disrupted and certain websites where unable to load or applications Steam for example. On to now. Whenever i have a PC that is connect via Ethernet the connection DNS suffix will show up as Utopia.net rather than hsb1.(insert state abv).comcast.net. And various other articles i have read says this is a form of DNS hijacking. So i first run a virus scan on all PCs. Also at this point all PCs connected via Ethernet show up as Utopia as the DNS suffix. Not the WiFi connection's oddly. Regardless virus scans were ran on all devices PC, phones, tablets... I tried several different virus scanners Windows defender, Norton, AVG, Malwarbytes, Avast( i used their network scan and deleted the profile for Utopia however it just came back after router restart and or PC restart). Nothing came up on any scans besides the avast network scan and it was just the network profile not any kind of program. However it did not list it as malware annoyingly. Next i factory reset the router no effect, reset One PC as a test no effect. I realized at this time it could the malware could somehow be jumping back to the PC on each wipe so i decide in on last ditch effort i would format all drives on all PC's with a windows imagine on a USB drive to ensure a complete fresh version of window and at the same time i factory reset the router. Things are looking good for about 5 minutes....Then it was back. Utopia.net showed up as the DNS suffix after all of that. Also i found a few files i the windows reg named Utopia i deleted them (this was the windows copy before the big reset). The reg files where not found in the new copy of windows. Now we are getting a new router to see if that helps but at this point i feel pretty defeated so if anyone has any suggestions or ideas, maybe even heard of it apparently its pretty rare. It would be MUCH appreciated. Thank you!
  6. Hello i am trying to setup RAID 0 with two 1TB hard drives, i have gone into the BIOS and change it to the RAID config and set which SATA connections are to be in the RAID 0 config. However when it boots and prompts the RAID utility thing as it should and set it up to stripe across the two hard drives it just keeps booting over and over again bring me to that RAID utility. And windows keeps trying to repair itself i can correct the issue by disabling the RAID 0 config but that doesn't realy solve anything. So the TLDR is why does it keep booting to the RAID utility. Thank you for any help
  7. For gaming. A rx480 8 gig. PSU is 600w and stock cooler
  8. Whats a good CPU and motherboard for under $300, motherboard can be on the cheap side. For gaming.
  9. I found my old tablet from a few years ago and I wondering what it's worth is? Let me know what you guys think or what you might pay for it.
  10. My friend is wanting to get a new CPU, a huge argument broke out between the i5 7600 and the Ryzen 1600 in the group so we need some outside opinions. Thanks you for the help!
  11. Well i meant adapers for it like this one.. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817997041&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Accessories+-+Hard+Drive-_-N82E16817997041&gclid=Cj0KCQjw4vzKBRCtARIsAM3l8ODSHFvZCxaWDgbF6QbWVCMx0xqSr2rPosfFGCeAJGDDsvYdXGn89jAaAndaEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
  12. This is the slot loaded one i was intending to use https://pcpartpicker.com/product/fTM323/silverstone-technology-sod03-95-127mm-slot-load-odd-component But the case has a standard bay.
  13. How would i proceed to using Intel RST?
  14. I recently bought a 16gig intel Optane drive for my laptop it met all the hardware requirements and everything else except for one thing, BIOS support. So i began doing some research but mostly lose ends and through quite a bit of talking through support chats, emails and other things they said that either there will be support at a later date and some even saying that there most likely will not be support for certain laptops. https://communities.intel.com/thread/113852 So my laptop is an MSI msi gl62m and i wanted to know if you guys have heard of anything or recommendations in my situation. The latest BIOS version does not support Optane yet, also what are the chances of it ever supporting it. And since i am still eligible to return the Optane module waiting and seeing is not really the most ideal option.
