I'm helping a friend spec out a new computer for her and her fiance. This isn't a discussion on pre-built vs built, so just skip over that.
CYBERPOWERPC has a lot of customization available. Every part is available on every build. For example, you can select the pre-configured 3200G or 3900X and change the CPU to the other one. The interesting part, is that the prices are different based on which pre-configured tier you start with.
Here's a screen shot of two identically configured systems. One started with the cheapest Ryzen starting at $1065, and the other with the most expensive Ryzen, which started at $2365. The prices dropped to $926 and $1295 respectively.
Scrolling through the two computers, it's interesting to see where the price differences exist. The RAM is hilarious! The 64GB kit is a $540 option for the cheaper system, and only $480 for the top tier unit.
