Well I don't have a ton of space for extensions is a big issue.My psu is modular by the way. Also I am starting halfway. I priced it out and decided my best option was to just get pre-sleeved but not yet installed cables and then I'm going to finish off the work myself. That way I avoid most of the mess but still get the finished product I want for a good amount cheaper. I just need to know about the actual wiring process

Was planning to go with cablemod but its hard to get them in US and they are pretty pricey.

OK so I am going to attempt to sleeve my own cables. The plan is to run black cables from my PSU, because I just feel like that never looks right with colorful cables, then switch to my custom color scheme behind the mobo and run the cables where they need to go. I am doing research and I am just confused. On close inspection with the 24 pin I had previously been using the wires cross all over the place between the connectors, but I looked at a pinout and they all line up so that pin 1 on one connector has the same voltage as pin 1 on the other connector. So I am just wondering do I need to cross around all the wires like my current cable or can I just run them straight across. Any help is helpful. TY

So I built my very first pc ever a few months ago and at the time I didn't have enough money to purchase an HDD and an SSD so I just got a 250gb SSD with plans to purchase an HDD when I got the money. Well that time came and I finally got a 3tb HDD for mass storage. The issue I am having is with file allocation. Hardware I love and kinda understand, software cause me aggravation. So what i want to do is move everything from my SSD to my HDD except for games and boot, BUT I want to know if I can still have everything show up under "This PC" instead of having to search for everything through my HDD. In addition can I just make it so everything saves to the HDD? Not fantastic at software like i said so any help at all would be absolutely fantastic. And if I am just missing simple easy and wonderful solutions, please be gentle.

I am about to endeavor on my first pc build. I am mildly obsessed with having great components in everything I do and I'm trying to build a pc for about $1100 dollars. I am building for gaming and just to have a badass computer. The plan is Intel i7 6700k $495 Asus ROG Maximus viii Hero $235 Corsair Vengence LPX 16gb 2400MHz ddr4 $95 EVGA SuperNOVA 750w $90 Noctua NH-U14S $70 Samsung 850 evo 250gb ssd $80 Windows 10 $120 I already have a case and GPU Fractal Design Define S Radeon R9 290 Would all this work together? My plan is to upgrade storage, GPU, and maybe Ram when I can, as well as eventually add water cooling hence the Define S.
