  1. So, I'm currently building a new PC (Skylake platform) and have some OS doubts. I have an old 500Gb HD with windows 7 and all my stuff on it, and I bought a new SSD for my new PC. Is it possible to use the old HD with windows 7 to upgrade to windows 10 an clean install in into the SSD? Thanks!
  2. Have you fixed it? I bought my Asus z170a but still waiting for the CPU, worried to have the same problem... Thanks!
  3. Thanks for all the replies!!
  4. I see, but the 750W is more than ok, right?
  5. Is this PSU ok for this build? - MSI z170a Gaming Pro - Core i5 6600K - Asus Strix 980 TI - Corsair 16Gb ddr4 2400mhz - Samsung 850 Pro 512Gb - NZXT H440 Razer Edition I do pretend to put a second 980TI in the future. Thanks!
  6. The problem of the Asus z170a for me is just how it looks, it does not go well with the rest of my new build: NZXT H440 Razer Edition i5 6600k Corsair ddr4 2400mhz (all black) Asus Strix 980ti I'm still considering the Asus z170a, but it would not look good. Do you guys have any other suggestions for mobo?
  7. I was afraid of the RAM because neither, Asus or MSI website, list this memory and I'm kind of a noob Thanks
  8. What are your thought between those three: MSI z170a Gaming Pro MSI z170a Gaming M7 Asus z170a And also, will a Corsair 16Gb (2x8Gb) 2400mhz work on all those boards? The exact RAM model is CMK16Gx4M2A2400C14, and I will be mostly gaming!
  9. Thanks for the great answers! And what about the PSU for this build, is it ok??
  10. So, I'm going to build my first PC and I have pretty much all the parts listed: MSI z170a Gaming Pro Core i5 6600k Corsair Vengeance Lpx DDR4 16Gb (2x8Gb) 2400mhz Asus GTX 980 Ti Strix NZXT H440 Razer Edition Corsair RM 750W But I have some doubts (I'm a noob): - In msi websites, my ram isn't listed as supported; - MSI z170a Gaming Pro vs MSI z170a M7 vs Asus z170a; - I'm to afraid of water cooling leakage, so I don't know if I should consider a Corsair H110 or opt for some good Air Cooling; PS: Ram model CMK16GX4M2A2400C14 Thanks!!
