  1. The Z2 has really nice proportions, and with a new IPS panel, its more of an incentive to get! Good job Sony x dbrand
  2. Bought the M7, would maybe by the M8. Do apprechiate HTC's effort with the build quality, still love my M7. Honestly, for phones, it would either be a ip5 or a ONE, no contest.
  3. an update. I used Gparted and a linux boot to try format the drive, it successfully cleared the drive of data, but now wont allow a proper format or any writing to the drive. >=Z... what is thou problem.
  4. Ill give partedmagic a try also ill try linux aswell. thanks for the advice, ill keep you guys updated.
  5. its strange that i could read it and write to the SSD still. Its not dead by any stretch and works with another pc. I just cant get it to format. Deleting the system reserved and c: partition does nothing, as it reverts back to its pre-delete form like something is preventing the drive from being deleted.
  6. Hey guys, first time poster, long time viewer of the tech tips. Ide like to think im pretty good with computers and pride myself with DIY, but theres always a moment where you just need to accept that you need help. Well...I need help... =( I have a HTPC running on my old X2 4600+ with a 5450 and 4gb? of mushkin ram. The boot is a kingston v100. I never touch the machine other than to surf the web, splashtop, and watch videos on it. One day it just started to BSOD and upon restarting, everytime, an error would pop saying a driver has failed. concurrently, catalyst drivers would also fail later in and coretemp just stops working/loading. its a viscious cycle of BSODs and errors. I just gave up and tried to format the drive. Now here is the weird part, usually formating a drive is as easy of right clicking and formatting it, but all methods of formatting i know have been futile. Disk Manager, cmd-Partdisk, and windows 7 installer all failed to format the SSD. So...members of the community, do you have any ideas and/or advice you could give? Thanks.
