  1. Hard to find a dedicated coach these days, but it always helps to join groups in compet (and eventually make friends with the group, so you can play together often) and watch YouTube videos of pro players. Can't stress the second one enough. You notice stuff pro players do that you don't and eventually learn to.
  2. Try connecting to another HDMI output (another PC? blu-ray player?). With the info you have, it's really hard to tell where the problem is. Could be that the HDMI cable itself is broken, or your display.

  4. First machine, definitely. Second one leans towards gamers, and the Xeon chips would come in handy since you're gonna be using a VM.

I don't get what you mean. In Windows, you can just stick a window atop another one and enable "Always on top", right?
  6. As long as your games don't rely on registry entries for configuration, you'd probably be able to play them if you install your old HDD into your new PC. Otherwise, re-installing them is a good way to go.
  7. Have you tried enabling HTTP pipelining? Some people report that it actually helps some fringe cases, and I don't see any real reason not to try. https://www.maketecheasier.com/speed-up-firefox-http-pipelining/
  8. Most third-party apps should work fine with Windows 10 if you're migrating from Windows 7. However, drivers and some OEM utilities probably won't, so watch out for that.
  9. Maybe you need to install your SSD drivers first. And stop being whiny, no one's gonna help you if you whine like a three-year-old.
  10. Nothing in Mac that I can't really use in Windows, maybe apart from some native *nix-compatible apps (like MacVim, zsh, etc.) which I can run on a VM anyways. Hmm, yes, maybe I can just shrink. I dunno, I've never used a Mac before and I was like: "Hey, I wanna become poor for a while and splurge $$$$ on a Mac just so I can try it." Nah, just kidding. There was a time I needed to develop on Mac (XCode for iOS apps).
  11. Got this same log a few weeks back, I think. Got a notification on my phone that nginx screened some fishy looking request and lo and behold, walk on the path of cherry blossoms.
  12. You can. It's just a matter of repartitioning. VMware Fusion is terrible, imho. I've been using Parallels do play games before and do some heavy C4D renderwork and it works fine. With Fusion, I can't even get more than 10fps on League of Legends.
  13. Two people want me to keep it so far. Thanks guys. I do have an old Seagate 500GB for backing up my game installers, so there's that.
  14. So here's the scenario. I have a mid-2015 MBP, with all its bells and whistles (i7, 16GB DDR3, Radeon R9 M370X), and I just recently installed Boot Camp. Now, I'm really happy with it and I'm finding it to be a hassle to switch back to OS X to do work and so on. So I was thinking, should I just get rid of the OS X partition entirely to make room for more space on Windows? I'm asking for your thoughts because of two things: 1 - It kinda makes me feel bad for spending Php 124,990.00 (currently converts to around 2,665 USD, give or take) to get a Mac, and then scrap the Mac part entirely; 2 - On the other hand, it would be a lot easier to transition from gaming to work without the need to reboot. So am I an idiot for not getting a real gaming laptop instead, and would I benefit if I did this or would it be a total waste of time?
