    2. this greatly impacts every employee so sit down and figure stuff out and LISTEN to the employees

As many here have already mentioned, this video without a testing phase of different refresh rates is incomplete. Also, what makes this incomplete is the use of just high end hardware for the testing. Sure, Linus did mention the impact will be even more, but just how much more.

Having a 1440p 144Hz monitor with a side 1080p 1440Hz on a RTX 3060Ti/RTX 3070 class of GPU is not unusual and should be a pretty common config among people.

Why not test those and find out just exactly how much it affects the performance then? I sometimes really get tired of such findings only being limited to high end hardware when most common people might not have it.

Hey, I just created this account, but I've been watching Linus for years. In their newest video, Linus showcased one of Vtech's newest products, the KidiBuzz 3, which is honestly kinda cool and I would've loved having one as a kid. But, I feel like it should come to the attention of the viewer how horrible Vtech is, or, at least how horrible their data breach was back in 2015. There's an excellent video made by Vince Vintage, which I have linked, but TLDR:
-They acquired sensitive content on millions of children, which includes emails, passwords, security questions, addresses, parent emails... etc.
-Had a data breach by an anonymous user who gained access to their data base, undetected.
-Contacted a website across all of their devices that used Adobe Flash for their login page, which, even back in 2015 was vulnerable to SQL injections and other vulnerabilities.
-Stored usernames in passwords in a decades old encryption algorithm.
-Stored security questions in plain text.
-Lied about how much data was compromised.
-Added a term in their TOS which reads "YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT ANY INFORMATION YOU SEND OR RECEIVE DURING YOUR USE OF THE SITE MAY NOT BE SECURE AN MAY BE INTERCEPTED OR LATER ACQUIRED BY UNAUTHORIZED PARTIES."
They have significantly strengthened their unlock methods since then, but I feel like even if I told my aging grandparents about this issue, who care less about their data than their dental health, wouldn't want to touch Vtech with a forty-foot-pole.

There isn't any logic to them, it's just copper traces and connectors/physical interfaces. There's no electronics to fail so the added risk is very low. Of course this isn't really something you "should do" but you can and isn't a massive risk in general.

Seems like a CPU bottleneck. Are you using ray tracing in the game? If so, you are certainly being bottlenecked by the CPU as this and Miles Morales both are extremely CPU demanding with raytracing on. Try disabling or decreasing ray tracing quality.

Also, what resolution are you using? If it is 1080p, why use DLSS? RTX 3060 should be able to handle Spiderman on native 1080p res without much issues. Disabling DLSS would also increase GPU utilisation and take some load off of CPU. Try that.

Same here on an MSI suprimx model. Video is a bit of a dud to be honest. 1000watt in the thumbnail and they never come close to that. Even with a chiller and an external voltage controller they barely exceeded what any 4090 can do.
Good job getting the power consumption up without any performance gains over a "normal" 4090.
I love the crazy projects they get up to on LTT but this one really misses the mark.

On a side note, any idea which settings they ran the benchmark on?

If the system lagged on desktop with 7400 & 16GB of ram either you don't know how to install windows or the system has some other issue. My laptop with 6GB (8Gb 2gb gpu reserved) can run windows 11 smoothly and disabling security features for Performance is fun for a while until you get exploited and from my experiance 3rd party Avs use more reasorces that windows defender so in total the resource usage will be worse if you want somewhat secure system. and why the planet caring laptop has 1 ram slot (the rest of the ram is soldered on )That's totally consumer caring and eco friendly and which company don't use Philips (Except apple) and many of them don't have that brittle plastic clips that want to break if you open it up. You can totally take Sponsorships but lying to your viewers i did not expected that from LTT.
And when comes to the pc 7th gen is not old or the system you should have to throw out there is still people buyying 4th gen systems and most of them use clean windows and the systems that need a helping hand (Linux) is systems with core 2 duo or old AMDFx cpus with 2/4Gb of ram. to be completely honest the 69$ pc will be a better contender for E-Waste PC than this. And if you wanted to upgrade on a budget there is Rx 580 for gpu and 256GB sata ssds that is literally 10$. Even though Wd Blue SSD is a good drive it cost way more than that around 30$ there is even cheaper mSATA&Sata SSDs even from WD that cost less than that.

?? Why would you pay $18 to upgrade the ram? Would that even give any real performance gain? That seemed like such a weird thing to do considering the topic of the video being that old hardware is perfectly fine and cheap.

NemesisPrime_691 got a reaction from AI_Must_Di3 in Is it safe to disable integrated graphics?
As I can see this is a desktop, so disabling it would not cause issues as long as you are not plugging in the DP/HDMI to the motherboard. Hell, it might even give you a benefit if you disable it, as atleast on laptops, integrated graphics take up a chunk of your RAM to use as VRAM. My laptop Ryzen 7 5800H uses 2GB, but came with a default of 4GB allocation to integrated GPU.

If you have tons of RAM, it might not be an issue, like I had 32GB, so can spare a few more to iGPU, but if you have 16GB or so memory, every bit counts, especially while playing games on higher res/settings as I assume you might be doing if you have the 7900XTX.

Okay, so this isn't first time the LTT performance tables allude me. Why is it so hard for you guys to create a table that is easily readable so I don't have to stop every time you show something to me.

    Making it more readable:
    Colour mark the Companies
Sort them Top-down with per Performance tier, exempli gratia i9-13900k R9-7900X i7-13700k R7-7700X
Group them by company; i9-13900k i7-13700k and another group R9-7900X R7-7700X
Or just have the Top performer at the top, like a cpubenchmark.net graph.

Then another thing, why are you guys testing on Windows 11 when still only 12th Gen and newer (excluding AMD) gets a performance boost and everything else a performance hit?

Respectfully disgaree, Android Go's requirements are effectively a minimum requirement for Android devices in general.

If a device barely meets the requirements, it uses Android Go and if it comfortably meets the requirements then it uses standard Android.

As to this being only for really low end phones: Some of the devices that previously ran standard Android will now need to run Android Go. Older devices particularly running lineageOS are likely to be particularly affected by it unless the lineageOS project takes out the code that looks for these requirements.
