  3. So my sister has just started out as a professional photographer, and as me being a computer enthusiast, her workflow really agitates me. She uses external hard disks to store and work on her pictures. So i thought of building her a NAS server using a single board computer Gigabyte GA-J1800M-D3P Motherboard a small case and power supply and NAS drives. I wanted to connect it directly to her iMac using the Gb Ethernet port as it wouldn't need access to the internet, or add a network card in the pci slot if it does.I have never built a NAS before so I wanted to know if this would be feasible or not. Or what else could I do.

Pry open the ram heatsinks using a blow dryer and the heat pads and paint on them Now I need suggestions, first of all which methods to use, which paint to use and also if I open up the heatsinks what kind of heat pads do I buy to replace the heat pads and how do I stick them back. Thank you.
