  1. There's this one : https://pcandparts.com/monitor/ However i'm trying to inquire about more options from another supplier whom may have a larger array of options, unfortunately he has no website up, but it mostly revolves around the same models listed in the site with some extra ones of the same series in each brand.
  2. I'm looking to get a new monitor for both gaming and a workstation. I am mainly searching for a monitor that is IPS curved around the 34'' mark QHD since the size of the screen is big and i will need it for work more then gaming 144hz is a big bonus but not a must note first that availability and prices in my current residence is not that good(shipping is a bad option as well). However I did find a good deal on LG 34UC79, but i backed off when i found out its only FHD. I'm currently on the search for something like LG 34UC88 or 98 after checking some online reviews as they seem to be good monitors. What other models would you recommend to me in the specs i have listed? workstation is more important then gaming.
  3. I leave my PC on sometimes overnight or when I am away from home for big downloads or uploads. I have noticed that when i check my PC, my PC had restarted. I am sure it can't be an electric problem because I am plugged to an online UPS at all times. My specs: Mobo: DH61WW CPU: I5 2500 Ram: Kingston 2x4B SSD: Samsung evo 860 1TB (main drive) HDD: WD green 1TB GPU: Zotac GTX1070 CPU: Thermeltake 630W Smart SE I have never had the problem while working or during my PC usage and I've used it for extended periods in some cases. This has been happening for awhile, but I thought It could be restart from windows update or some softwares that I have left to update on it's own, but just last night i was trying to upload some large files and realized that my clients never got the files. I checked my PC and turns out it had restarted, i have tried twice over the past 2 days with same result. How can i identify the issue here? could it be a software issue as well? is there some timer that I may have placed on my computer for idle without my attention? Best Regards
  4. Thanks a lot for your help I think I'm gonna test out the GTX 1070 for a few days to make sure it's not defected as first step. 2nd step, I'll probably buy the Cougar GX 550 since it makes more sense and a quick google search shows it to be a good PSU from general reviews, besides I don't trust warranty here very much.
  5. Aren't these 2 in top3? also for same price as the silverstone. https://macrotronics.net/product_info.php/cougar-gx-550w-power-supply-gold-certified-p-12716 https://macrotronics.net/product_info.php/cougar-gxs-650w-power-supply-gold-certified-p-12631 Although i don't see sata connectors in description, though that could be an error from the website.
  6. I don't know what country these links refer to, i'm from Lebanon. The 2 links I posted are the top 2 competitors in my country.
  7. Unfortunately, I've checked other shops and their varieties are mostly worse or non-existent... This is only viable competitor: https://macrotronics.net/index.php/computer-parts/power-supply-psu-c-469_281
  8. For better reference, this is where i'm shopping from: https://pcandparts.com/power-supplies/?swoof=1&stock=instock&min_price=0&max_price=591
  9. It isn't about the wattage that I'm really worried about. The availability of decent quality PSUs where i'm from is very very rare and expensive. Also I like to keep some headroom in my build in case I do some upgrades, I do like to go crazy from time to time and get some new stuff added in my case. Anyway all the PSUs in 400-600W that I've found fall in the Tier 6-7 Category on the list that was shared earlier, or not even on that list...So my options are limited.
  10. Thank you everyone for the quick replies. I will have to stick to the my current for at least a week, at least to test out that the card i got isn't defected. the corsair unfortunately is unavailable at the moment where i'm at, I'm searching for similar quality according to the list that seon123 shared: Cougar GX-S650-V3 Gold 650W PSU Cougar GX-S750-V3 Gold 750W PSU Cougar GX800 Gold Modular 800W PSU Let me know, will any of these do the trick instead? (not asking about wattage, but the quality) Note that I have an NZXT full tower phantom case (I know that some PSUs don't reach all the way with their cabling) - Also i like modular PSUs
  11. I've had it for almost 3-4 years now with no issue, and it is also plugged 24/24 to an online UPS to protect from power outages. I'm not defending the PSU, just stating what I have.
  12. I've got an "old" PC at the moment, and I've found a good deal on a GTX1070. The problem is I have a thermaltake 630W smart, will it be enough for this card? I am planning an upgrade soon on most components, but this deal will go away in the next 2 days and I don't want to waste it. Note that I am currently using it for a Radeon 7850HD
  13. Thanks for your reply, I had no idea there's a limitation on my card.
  14. I need help with connecting 3 monitors to my PC: I have a Radeon 7850 graphics card, ports are: 1 DVI-D 1 DVI-I 1 HDMI 1 Display port My monitors all have "VGA" port (basically useless), 1 of them have HDMI, and 2 of them have DVI-D. I'm currently using 1 HDMI port 1 DVI-D port. I've tried plugging the 3rd using DVI-D in DVI-I port but that doesn't work, only one of the monitors using that port turns on. Any converters I can get or any workarounds for this? thanks
