I'm helping a friend build a system and I haven't really been in the loop of new hardware since I built my PC 2.5 years ago so I need some help parting it out. Looking to spend about 500-700 USD. The system will be used for mostly minecraft and skyrim at 1080, maybe some light photo editing. I have a friend with a rx 580 for $70 so take $100 off both reference builds. I cant get on my computer long enough to download any drivers at this point. I've been trying to completely reset it but it crashes half way through that aswell

So i bought a 2x8 gb kit of Trident Z rgb model number F4-3200C16D-16GTZR. This kit is support by my Asus 450 f-gaming motherboard but I read somewhere that only the GTZRX works with Ryzen. Im getting a lot of crashing with error codes that have something to do with either drivers or memory management. Any help on what to do next would be great as I'm currently sitting here with a 1500 dollar paper weight

I just finished building my pc, got windows booted up, and began to install my drivers. Right as I allowed the nvidia driver to make changes to my computer crashed due to "IRQL" error. Now it has been doing this non stop and has also had different error codes such as Memory Managment. All 16gb of ram are showing up in my bios so I don't know what to do now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alright so after 7 hours ive finally gotten my pc built but now every time I login to windows it either gives me IRQL less than or equal to error or memory managment. This started happening right after I tried to install the nvidia drivers if that helps. Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

Last question what is the difference between the 2700 and the 2700x as it's only $14 more?

1)650w is only $5 cheaper so why not. 2) I plan to do a decent bit of video editing so I'm leaning towards it. 3) 1700 is $20 more than a 2600 rn, I'm unaware of the core performance difference

I think its time that I finally join the master race as I've been playing on console for about 8 years now and I finally accumulated enough money from after school jobs to buy myself a worth while rig. I plan on getting into all the new games I'll have access to now (Mostly Competitive Shooters and MMOs) and at some point streaming. The only help I really need is with verifying I'm not making some rookie mistake as I haven't paid attention to new hardware in a few years as well as any better deals or value I can get with other suggested parts. the sound is more of a helicopter propeller not the normal squealing sound and my ps4 is pretty far away. the sound seems to be electrical interference but I don't what could be causing that.

Alight so I've been having this problem ever since I upgrading my mic from a boom pro to a modmic 4.0. I only use this mic on ps4 and I have it setup with a turtlebeach dss2 ( https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Beach-Force-Surround-Processor-63043006306200/dp/B006W41X36 ) running out of my ps4 and a cable creation mic and audio adapter ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H2XF8V8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) out of that which is where my antlion modmic 4.0 connects to. The problem is there is a sometimes very noticeable and sometimes almost non-existent helicopter sounding hum in the background. I have tried switching out all usb cords but that hasn't seemed to fix it any ideas as to what I could do to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Alright so this started about 6 hours ago, I wanted to play a Pokemon Emulator so I downloaded one online. With it came some extra downloads that made my already laggy laptop unusable so I beared through uninstalling all the new stuff and I restarted my computer and now I'm getting this when trying to sign into windows to reached the desktop. If I try to click it goes black for a few second and returns to this image. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
