  1. Well, believe it or not, I'm using a cheapo membrane keyboard. Not yet on its last legs, but I kinda can't justify buying a PS/2 connector for it. And yeah... I'm also using USB hubs since around two of my USB ports stopped working for some reason i do not know why. Well, which one of those would you recommend?
  2. Well, I've plugged a shitton of stuff via USB and there's another one I want to plug in, but I can't exactly justify unplugging another peripheral for it. But since my motherboard has PS/2 connection, yeah... as the title says.
  3. I've always thought that Index and Railgun had to be watched together at a certain degree because Index had holes that Railgun fills and vice-versa.
  4. Corey in the House is a classic
  5. Not even significant in that tier of a GPU, really.
  6. Overwatch. I gave in to my desire to play that game that I decided to pre-order it. Like, fuck it. If it sucks, then I'll blame myself. If its awesome, then holy shit.
  7. I'd be a good upgrade if you can't justify going above $200.
  8. I've had problems with "cleaning" Fallout 4's .ini files (which frustrates the fuck out of me) to get rid of the random stuttering (by stutter, I mean sometimes it just hangs for like 3-5 seconds then it'd be fine again then within every 1-15 minutes, it'd hang up again for that long... randomly. I forgot how I fixed it because I sure as hell don't want to touch it again) while my friends who have 970s and 980 Ti's never had a problem with it. Seriously, if its user error, I'd be fine, but goddamnit! Whats with games nowadays even having that kind of messed up quality control where even individual users can have problems while the next guy can have none of it? Like, shit. Whoever had the smartass idea to let consoles have patches should have his/her genitals burned to a crisp and their nails pulled out. Why? Ever since consoles became patchable, it sure as hell made publishers and/or developers lazier or rushed to finish essentially ridiculously hard tasks like finish a game with a short-ass time. They be like "we'll just patch it" and shit kind of attitude.
  9. Alright, marking it solved. Thanks everyone (I'm gonna mark @thekeemo as the one who solved it since he basically answered first... sorry bout that D:)
  10. Well, yeah, I'm gonna do that. I thought he meant to say that in a sense that the heat generated by the PSU may affect the temperature of the liquid/pump/etc...
  11. Alright, before I marked this as solved, just to confirm, its basically safe to mount it ontop of the PSU provided the res is on top of the pump and is fed without issues, right?
  12. Well, the Node 804 has a second chamber dedicated for the PSU itself (basically the entire chamber is its "shroud", I guess) which it shares with the hard drive cages or fans and radiators. So, yeah, no shroud like the Enthoo Pro, Luxe, Primo, Evolv, or even the P series.
  13. Well, having witnessed two rigs with a D5 (albeit I'm told one of them have been in those rigs for years while the other may have been a factory reject) just fail on itself. I'd personally like two D5s for redundancy (likelihood of two pumps failing at the same time is lower than the likelihood of a single pump failing at all at some point in time).
  14. So, if the fan is facing down (fan-side down) it should be alright, right? Would putting some sort of foam padding inbetween the PSU and the pump be a good alternative? There's really not much to drill on to mount a pump in the Node 804, really.
  15. I've had no issues with GTA V with my rig, but damn... My friends have had headaches getting it to work, and they have 980 Ti's while I have a 970.
  16. An 8350 can allegedly bottleneck a 390 (which, by the way, in terms of raw performance, is basically identical to the 970 despite the 390 beating it in some games and the 970 beating it in some games). I haven't heard of an i5 legitimately bottlenecking even a 980 Ti (which runs rings around the 970 and the 390), so yeah... go with the 4690k.
  17. So, since I stubbornly want to fit a D5 pump (actually, two of them) into a Fractal Node 804 (with four of Hardware Labs' L series 240mm radiators since I can get them locally), I did a bit of "guess-fitting" and it'd seem that the length of the power supply I intend to use won't give that space for a D5 on the other side (where the PSU takes place and the other two radiators I intend to fit in it) since it'll impede or intrude the space of where the cables are, which would apply unnecessary pressure on it (which I believe it'd damage them since, hey, its a PSU. Basically the heart of the PC.). So, yeah, will mounting one (or two, since I intend to use EK's Revo D5 pump and Swiftech's tiny reservoir) D5 pump/s on top of the PSU be a bad thing since it also heats up its own enclosure at one point no matter how good the PSU is?
  18. I was expecting the last two episodes to be something straight from the Manga. But, oh well...
  19. I personally think that their workload is actually not as manageable as what they think it is. I mean, these guys upload videos pretty much every day. I know Linus has to pay Luke, Edzel, Dennis, etc..., but damn... slow it down a bit, LMG. Its not that LMG isn't running out of ideas, IMHO. I just think they put a bit too much on their plate, thus why I think the quality has dropped.
  20. Well, I don't know what your budget is, but if looks are your concern (honestly, guys who are spending for two 980 Ti's should atleast do themselves a favor and make their rigs look as good as they want them to be) then its solid. If you just want performance, you could spend for a cheaper motherboard. But yeah... you're better off with a PSU with 1000W or even 850W, but then again we should consider the amount of power the components will need when overclocked and under-load. I've seen rigs with 850W power supplies and dual 980 Ti's pretty much use ALL of what it can deliver... and its a scary sight. Its asking the PSU to blow up, despite that they can take it. 8 minutes ago, Killstreak said: i made it cheeper look http://pcpartpicker.com/p/vcxqK8 Uhm... dual 390X's get eaten by dual 980 Ti's. Plus, in terms of price to performance, a single 980 Ti is better than dual 390Xs and 980s because dual GPU solutions don't always scale well in every game, let alone scale at all when games aren't optimized to run with dual GPU's. Plus, you can have stutters with even dual GPU solutions.
  21. Well, I was gonna reply... until @Crowes pretty much said what I wanted to say, only better. If these shallow shows help in funding studios making genuinely good stuff, then I'm fine with it. But... it seems like they're content with that, and anime fans are of different generations. I'm sure even 80s anime had shows as shallow as what we see today, probably worse compared to the shallow ones we have today (Just a guess since every generation in any form of entertainment or anything in general that have moments, things, etc... that are as bad if not worse than today. I mean, as a wrestling fan, even WWE's Attitude Era had pretty bad matches, bookings, moments in general and some were even worse than what WWE is right now.), but we can't just let anime right now just wallow up on itself with the cash they get on anime that have more face-value than substance. Guys like A1, Kyoto Animation, and the likes have to produce genuinely good stuff more often than once or twice. And yeah... I didn't really wanna mention Kyoto Animation, but I can see some cracks with what they've been releasing... I hope the cracks are mended soon.
  22. Not even VPN's? I've tried some of them, but I don't know which ones can actually do something.
  23. I love DotA as a game, love it very much, but fuck the SEA server. The toxicity is so bad here that I could make a long list of "I would rather ___ than ___" like "eat shit and get cholera or some sickness than play with motherfuckin' peenoise and other toxic SEA players in DotA 2". Playing in other regions other than SEA, Japan, and Australia, it makes it worse because I'm playing at 200-300ms... and thats a fuckin' nightmare (I can't stand connection lag nowadays). When playing in other servers excluding the ones I mentioned, when they tell me how much of an idiot I am, I feel guilty. I just queued in to be deadweight to my teammates. So, I've got a choice: Play with assholes or feel guilty (play in good ping but with assholes or play in servers that have less assholes but shit ping). And no, muting isn't a good solution either. Some motherfuckers troll with their Tiny, ES, OD, KotL, basically any hero that can fuck up an ally. If not that, they just bitch, moan, AFK at base at times, quit the game, so on and so forth. "Why not play ranked for less trolls?" Well, I've been forced to play ranked. And getting a high MMR in TBD status... since its based on performance, HOW THE FUCK DO YOU GET A HIGH MMR WHEN YOU'RE QUEUED WITH GUYS WHO'LL DO ANYTHING TO KILL STEAL?! I'm currently in 2953 MMR (playing support is a nightmare. These guys treat you like their personal bitch. Ranked has made me hate hate playing the role because of that, and sometimes supporting a carry who doesn't know how to play safe makes it much worse...) and fuck... I never even really wanted to play here (by here, I mean ranked). Now, before someone brings up "Play another game, then. Problem solved you fucking dumbass! Its such a simple solution you ignorant piece of shit!" Well, not so much on the latter part, but yeah... I have played other modes in Dota 2 and other games (But I don't enjoy them as much as DotA 2 vanilla for what it is, not counting in the motherfuckers who piss me off): Yeah... click the spoiler for the list. "Then DotA 2 is not the game for you" ... well who are you to tell me what I can or can't enjoy?! I just don't like playing with SEA players because despite that the majority of the toxic population are made up of peenoise, there are still a large amount of them who are toxic. But yeah, damn. I ain't moving out of my place just to go to another area that has PLDT Fibr in order to enjoy games because its unjustifiable in terms of cost and status IMHO, despite that this motherfucking ISP (PLDT... which, by the way, has been protected for years BY LAW! Which is why its competitors offer either worse speed-per-USD/PHP or just worse service or reliability. I don't know if these politicians who're running for president in 2016 [whoop-dee-doo, an election in the same year with US candidates as well] are sincere with dealing with it, since its as common as air and sunlight that we have always had corrupt politicians... we happen to have elected a guy who allegedly has autism as president... and he somewhat acts like it, too, just because of his lineage! Thats why I have high doubts that the new guys are gonna do anything about it!) that cherry picks areas to have fiber connection! Fuck them! I'm happy with the place I live in because the location is convenient and the rent is reasonably priced anyways. Despite PLDT Fibr having a much better speed-to-performance (I'm paying almost a hundred bucks a month for 10mbps on a copper line, cuz it includes the phone... which I don't need... while Fibr has twice that speed and just super-slightly higher than the one I'm paying for right now.), its not justifiable in terms of cost on how much these places that do have it go for... plus their locations are inconveniently placed. Its very far from where I work, let alone far from the transits. TL;DR: Anyways, anyone here got any idea how to improve my connection in other servers in DotA 2 apart from moving to another place to get fibre connection?
  24. Well, there are still good anime out there, but seeing as how the trend is today on what sells, 6 times out of 10 (to say the least... at most it ends up with atleast an 8 and a half), shows like SAO (not the genre its based on, but rather the shallowness in terms of a show) or whatever mold that came from contributed or spawned another mold on how to go lower, makes a significant amount of money that one could say from a business standpoint, a shallow, hollow, essentially lack actual substance can essentially make alot of money, making its efficiency in terms of monetary and time budget to make the product and spend a considerably large part of their budget on marketting, very profitable. One could argue that the lack of support contributes as to why the quality has dropped. As much as I do buy blu-rays, DVDs, even other products like figures, memorabilias, so on and so forth, whatever I can buy to monetarily support what I enjoy so they can keep producing more, much like alot of other people, but it seems that there isn't enough people who support shows that aren't like SAO. And that really pisses me off. Sure, if they favor those kinds of shows then more power to them, but damn... all fans in general deserve better.
