I'm having trouble finding the number of amps the CPU fan uses. The case fan lists 0.38A, so that multiplied by 2 is 0.76A. The CPU fan doesn't list its amps which makes it hard to determine whether or not it exceeds a sum of an amp. @defyant mentioned a SATA powered cable splitter. I'm guessing this would be what I'd need to do. Please let me know.

Thanks for your reply! The CPU fan has 4 pins whereas the case fans have 3. Will this be an issue? Should I purchase 4 pins to 3x4pin or 3pins to 3x3pin?

Yesterday I helped build a PC for my friend. I ordered a Corsair Carbide 200R Case (link below) and a Corsair VS500 PSU (link also below). The case comes with two case fans which I was excited about but I can't find anywhere to plug them in. I'm using an Acer MS7869 motherboard from an old prebuilt PC which didn't have any cases fans so there aren't any ports to plug the fans into. The PSU is closed off so I can't plug them directly into the PSU either. We're worried about his PC being too warm. Any help is appreciated. Thank you very much. I'm building a PC for my friend and he doesn't want it to be very flashy. Pretty much all cases today include some sort of RGB lights and/or a window. He doesn't want any of that. I'm looking for something sub $50 that includes fans. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I have some photos on my phone that I would like to upload to my Mac. When I plug in the USB cable to attempt to share the photos, nothing pops up on my Mac to get the photos. I go into finder and look under devices and there's still nothing there. This is very annoying. I have already enabled USB debugging on my Galaxy S8, tried "USB for file transfer" as well as "USB for image transfer", I've checked on my Mac to see if it even recognizes the phone (which it does), and I've also tried plugging in an Ipad which also doesn't work. If anyone has had a similar issue, I would very much appreciate some help. Thank you in advance.

Thank you all for your help. The upgrade was very tedious. I needed a specific link to the App Store to install Mac OS Sierra. From there I had to change my accounts details through another Apple Product since this laptop was too old to. Then it began the upgrade. The next day I installed Mac OS High Sierra.

My dad recently gave me his old Mid 2011 Macbook air. I immediately updated the computer and tried to download mac os sierra since it's compatible (https://support.apple.com/kb/sp742?locale=en_US). It seems the only option is mac os high sierra from the app store which is unfortunately incompatible (https://support.apple.com/kb/SP765?locale=en_US) since it requires 10.8 or newer. How do I install MacOS Sierra and not high sierra? Has anyone had a similar issue? Laptops specifications: Mid 2011 MacBook Air 10.7.5 Mac OS X Lion 4GB 1333 DDR3 Intel Graphics 300 384 MB 128 GB SSD

A couple days ago my dad gave me his old, 2011 MacBook Air. Surprisingly it still runs pretty smoothly, however, the outdated operating system seems to struggle a bit. I installed Google Chrome as I prefer it over Safari but Netflix has some issues. I am able to log on, but as I soon as I attempt to play something, I receive the error "M7701-1003" I believe this issue has to do with the WidevineCdm component not being up to date. I've tried going in incognito mode, opening chrome://components/ and clicking "check for update underneath WidevineCdm, I've tried logging in and out of chrome, reinstalling it, as well as unchecking hardware acceleration. If anyone has previously had this issue, I'd very much appreciate some help. Thank you in advance. I am using a 2011 MacBook Air running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5.

Hi, My sister dropped her iPad mini and the glass cracked pretty severely but no damage was done to the LCD. Since the stores charge a lot I'm thinking about fixing it for her. I've been looking online for tutorials to replace only the glass but can't find any. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you know any tutorials which could help me?
