Well a story a bit like mine has been already posted but here ya go:

So I have to do this presentation in school and the teacher wants everyone to copy/paste his powerpoint presentation in a certain folder so she can review them later. Everyone uses the freeze button on the beamer since they can't find the file they downloaded and take ages to click copy and then find the folder to put it in and paste. Well what I do is I download to file CTRL+C open the folder CTRL+V and it's done in like 3 seconds. Everyone was like "wow how did you do that?" My answer was: "BLACK MAGIC!!!"

Just found this: isopropyl alcohol seems to be harmless to electronics and a pretty good cleaner.

You could get a syma x5c which is only around 50 dollars including a couple spare batteries and a charger on Aliexpress.
I do own one myself, it flies great. It doesn't have FPV and camera quality isn't great but it's still decent for the price.
PS: it's a pretty popular drone and replacement parts are easy to find and very cheap.

Yes, just get the Nexus 5X if it has enough storage for you ( the maximum is 32GB )
Other than that it's a great device and will probably have a couple years of (unofficial)l software support to come.

Are you gonna do those simultaneously? That would require quite a lot of power.

it might be some background program that's constantly writing/reading. Check taskmanager to see what's causing it.
But in my case it was just my hard drive being super slow.

I did the following: use some place like Tweakers.net to find a cheap rig with enough sata conectors that's also energy efficient. Then just put Windows on it and use the sharing options to share the hdd's to the network. You can always use the server for extra stuff like Plex, rendering, torrents, ... Make sure to browse around a while you can get pretty sweet deals in The Netherlands that's the reason I drove all the way there just to buy a used PC

    WAIT!
    Is that ram/mobo/cpu ecc ( compatible ) ?
You need to use ecc ram for Freenas, it will corrupt your files if you don't. If you don't believe me browe a bit around the Freenas forum, everyone there is like "use ECC or don't use ZFS ( Freenas' only compatible file system )"
    nevermind, found something intresting: http://jrs-s.net/2015/02/03/will-zfs-and-non-ecc-ram-kill-your-data/
But why use Freenas when there are other alternatives that don't need as much ram ( because they don't use ZFS )

GoldenBE reacted to EposVox in Ghetto-Rigged Transcoding Server Idea?
I don't have specific data, but the direct process of transcoding to the format does not appear to utilize the GPU strongly. The GPU gets more usage when actually using Cineform format files within your NLE/editor, and when encoding your final video export from Cineform to H264/etc.

I'm looking to get a 750ti for this build - as it has some of the best CUDA performance for the money, but isn't a power hog. (This will do some Cineform to H264 encoding, too.)

So AFAIK for just transcoding from various formats TO Cineform, CPU cores are more important than GPU power, but you'll still want a Nvidia GTX GPU of some sort in the long run, ideally 660 or higher.
