Tell me about it. One main point as to why I went for an NVIDIA card. Not much of a recording person so I was hoping to rely on Shadowplay to catch moments that I'd want to keep.
Already loving the ideas with the Corsair case, but hey, if you can do even more with the Caselabs case, I'm all for it. Good luck with it! Looking forward to more
I wouldn't get them. They're annoying to install and are too obtrusive in the case. Just grab any that are "LED strips". They just stick right on to the case. Unless you want the ability to turn on and off your LEDs, then grab the NZXT ones for ease.
I'd grab a 750W power supply. Preferably any 80+ certified one. You need some headroom for overclocking, man. You might get an itch in the future!
Something like the Seasonic X-750 (SS-750KM3) would be nice.
SIP is definitely Surge & Inrush Protection.
OCP (Over Current Protection)
OVP (Over Voltage Protection)
SCP (Short Circuit Protection)
OPP (Over Power Protection)
OTP (Over Temperature Protection)
SIP (Surge & Inrush Protection)
All the protections in the power supply world, lul.
Nah, it won't be a problem. Talking about major shocks that either mounts probably wouldn't be able to handle either. It's safe around the house, don't worry. Unless you're planning to go skyvdiving with your case, then you're good to go.
Only reason I can find it "rattling" would be a faulty fan. You could ask for a replacement or just grab another 120 mm fan and replace it yourself if you're up for it. I doubt it'll harm anything if it rattles a lot. Just see if your fan's spinning properly otherwise the power supply may overheat.
EDIT: But if you do replace the fan, it may not be up to standard with the stock fan. Just gotta try look up the specs of the original fan and match it.
Anti-vibration and/or sound dampening foam. Just stick it on the power supply and force it in. It'll be a tight squeeze but it does its purpose. It's what I've done.
Pretty sure you don't need those extra 2-pin connectors. That's only for Bitfenix cases or the Hydra accessory which allows you to turn the LED on/off. You only need to connect the 3-pin to a fan header or to the PSU with molex connections.
It'll be fine, don't worry. I meant if you move your case a lot or bump into it occasionally. Just don't give it sudden shocks if you want to be really safe, but I doubt anything bad would happen.
