  1. I've been doing the Gaming headset since forever and I generally only get a year to year and a half out of a headset, before they fall apart or crap out. I'm not hard on them it just seems to be the trend with gaming headsets. I currently have Man'O'Wars, prior to that I had Plyr1's, Turtle Beach etc etc I'm tired of buying into the gaming platform and have a 200$ pair of paper weights every year that literally sit on my desk when I'm not on my computer and attribute to nothing else in my life. I've been leaning towards getting a good quality headset for the past year and now that my Razers are basically falling apart I need to pull the trigger. My main requirement is closed or semi closed and sound leak is no beuno (I understand open is preferred). At first I was just gonna buy the M50x's and be done with it then research told me it was all hype and they were not actually as good as the hype. Then I looked at the Sennheiser 598, the DT770's and the T50RP. I think I've decided on the T50RP's but I've read that for gaming they are not great as directional sound can be abit of an issue. So with my 500$ Canadian budget, currently about 20$ american. What would you do? Must be a portable DAC setup or no DAC and be closed. Gaming and screen time will be 80% of the usage these things see, 20% will be travel, airports etc etc. I do enjoy music alot and when I'm not gaming I have music playing.
  2. the GPU is running stock atm
  3. Copied from another forum, figured some LTT peeps may have a fix I know this topic has been beaten to death all over the internet but I cannot seem to fix my game to a playable state. I've tried every fix I've come across. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice. Removed all temp files associated with Steam, Arma3 and A3launcher, Done the regedit fix, Pagefiling, Large page files, Manually set the parameters, done the .dll file fix. The list goes on. Game runs fine for about 20 minutes to about an hour then crashes. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please report this on Arma 3 Feedback Tracker (http://feedback.arma3.com). Thanks to you we may fix the issue faster. ---------------------- Process exit ---------------------- Exit code: 0xC0000005 - STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION Running time: 00:01:38.5086027 ---------------------- System information ---------------------- Date: 2017-01-27 20:04:34 / 2017-01-27 13:04:34 -07 Current dir: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3 Command line: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\arma3launcher.exe" CLR version: 4.0.30319.42000 OS Version: 10.0.14393.0 (Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.14393.0) OS 64 bit: True Process 64 bit: False Culture: en-US UI Culture: en-US I've emailed Bohemia twice now with logs and no reply. 4. I'm looking to build a micro ITX pc strictly as a media center to watch on my tv. I've read a couple of articles that you can boot straight to XBMC. Goal is sub 200$, display port (for 4k) I have a hardware list that fits my build just trying to figure out if i can do it without windows. any help appreciated
  5. i was under the impression that the whole point of ai suite was to do that for you?
  6. fan curve is 40 to 60 degrees its at 600-800 rpm then at 70 its boosts to 2000rpm they are 3 pin fans
  7. almost seems random they ramp up during gaming as expected but once i stop gaming i have to open ai suite and turn the fans to silent mode several times before they will shut down
  8. I've tried playing with the fan curve in AI suite (don't get me started on this garbage program) but my fans are CONSTANTLY ramping and its bloody annoying. I've got 5 Coolermaster sickleflows currently, 2 intake 3 exhaust. I've done the AI suite setup for them, I've played with the fans curves I'm all out of ideas aside from just going external fan controller. Figured I'd ask before spending more money from the watercooling fund.
  9. Haven't had any issues with my new build until today. I've had 2 crashes today haven't changed anything, I added fans last week but haven't had any issues with them. PC specs are in my sig Error is as follows: The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. 10. love it, not a single complaint at all
  11. yes that is a pencil holding up my gpu...it was sagging....alot
  12. Had my computer setup for about a week now and my Strix 980ti is running at 80ish degree's while gaming cpu at about 40-45. The CPU is not really my concern but the GPU is running alittle hot for my liking. I did not buy additional case fans at the time because I wanted to know what my temps would be prior to if needing at all, so I'm currently running the 2 stock fans that came with the case. My thoughts are to run 3 120mm Static pressure fans up front then run 3 high flow fans for exhaust, I know kind of a newbie question but do I need to watch the CFM for the exhaust side to keep slight positive pressure?
