    Yeah looks like I'll be grabbing another PSU for 3 of the cards and I'll use the current for 3 cards. Only problem is my case doesn't fit 2 power supplies so I think I'll have to mount it on the top or side of the case. Oh well this is supposed to be a mining rig, not look great
     
    Thanks for the replies. Just had to make sure this was my only option before dropping the cash.

    Yeah my old laptop was a Toshiba and it's specs were decent but the durability was not. Thanks for your help

    Found a guide on this forum for the ASUS x99 boards, maybe it can help you. I dont have any experience with the platform personally so this is the best advice i can give.

    Well I took the battery out without unplugging the power supply. I disconnected the power supply and took out the battery for 30 seconds and boom it booted.

    Doing this now. I will let you know the results in 20 minutes. There hasn't been a post code yet because it hasn't powered on.
