  1. Bios is up to date, my friend is gonna borrow another PC soon to test it out, appreciate the help!
  2. Unfortunately cannot even make it into BIOS
  3. Apologies person has a GTX 660 not a 1050ti, will try that Vishera but will take a while
  4. Doesn't seem to be an option unfortunately, it did work with the 1050ti no settings changed, we're perplexed tbh
  5. Yep, and I believe the issue is not that it's AM3+ but that it's legacy only, hopefully someone can help
  6. EVGA 850 Bq Just verified the person is on the latest bios
  7. Hello there! A friend of mine accidentally bought a 5700 XT and has a M5A78L-M PLUS/USB3, a Legacy only board as far as we can tell (someone please confirm this), unfortunately when he tries to boot he gets a black screen then it shuts down, I assume this is because of the board being Legacy only, since a 1050ti works just fine. Any help is greatly appreciated!
  8. Hello there! Been trying to find out from where this fps counter is coming from but I'm stumped. It's not from the monitor, I uninstalled MSI Afterburner and Razer cortex, it's in every app so it isn't from a specific game and the GeForce experience fps counter is off List of programs (Uninstalled the razer software and MSI afterburner) https://pastebin.com/8QYjpKKK Any help is greatly appreciated!
  9. Hello there! A friend had an issue where the PC was restarting at random points, first assumption was a bad PSU, he tested a different PSU, no luck unfortunately. Then we ran memtest86, and it showed a lot of errors, tried with the ram in another build, no errors. Tried good confirmed ram in the problematic PC and it showed errors, then we assumed bad DIMM slots so RMA'd the board. New board arrived (MSI X570-A PRO) and unfortunately the shutting down issue is still present and errors still show, it actually once restarted during the memtest86 test. CPU: 3600 GPU: 2080 Ti
  10. Thing is I doubt this is drivers. This exact same issue happens in Linux, anyways the person got tired and eventually just rage quit, I will try and relay this to him when he is online and calm down
