WingmanImd's Achievements

  1. A Cougar 500M and a random a** keyboard.
  2. I've got a 7950 so a new card will give a considerable boost in performance! Ty LMG and AMD!
  3. Finally someone that has thought at people with small rooms. Gimme one!
  4. I got mine at 4.4GHz at 1.28V on a Asrock H81 MB and a cheap $8 cooler. About 65 celsius at full load. Jsut go 0.2GHz at a time and you should be fine. Also ditch the stock cooler and get ANY other one.
  5. Get a G3258, overclock it to 4,2-4,4GHz (even a cheap H81 motherboard can do it) then upgrade to a 4690k or a 4770k. You can buy a H81 MB and a G3258 for about $100.
  6. If you need any help with html, css, javascript, php and ajax just PM me!
  7. Also you might want to look at string escaping if you will want to add this messages into a database. ( http://php.net/manual/ro/mysqli.real-escape-string.php ). Another tip would be to always work on a server, you can find really cheap (and even free ) website hosting on the interwebz.
  8. If you want, you can buy an used 7950/7970 (even tough that will draw quite a bit more power. I wouldn't recommend using something less than a good 450/500w power supply). I know it's used but It's twice the performance, just search some benchmarks. I bought a used 7950 for about $100(~70 pounds) and never had any problems with it. Just consider upgrading your CPU after that, the 860k will seriously bottleneck the system. I had a 760k and now a G3258 4,4GHz and my 7950 doesnt go above 50% usage in anything I used it in. hope this helps!
  9. First of all thanks for the awesome giveaway! And second: Well, let's put it this way: At home I have a 1TB HDD, and that get's something like 15-30 seconds load time when I open Photoshop. At work I have a tiny 64GB SSD, nothing special right?! Well, Photoshop opens in about 2 seconds and when I need to transfer a lot of files ( 1000's of small files ) they copy so quick it makes me want to hit my home computer. Oh yeah, and my home pc is way more good in terms of other parts than my work pc. BUY A DAMN SSD PEOPLE!
  10. Get the XL2411Z, or hell, buy two of them for a bit more than one XL2720Z.
  11. My experience with my hackintosh isn't all that great. First of all I use and AMD CPU, installing is a nightmare (I have dual-boot, but you have to install OS X first, f*d up, lost 3 years worth of data), sound is half broken(can't listen music because of the pauses), changed the interner provider and now internet doesn't work. OS X looks pretty good and feels pretty good., but definetly not worth all the data I have lost. P.S. English is not my primary language so sorry for the grammar mistakes.
  12. I agree with @Crowes, it's my favorite editor and it has so many plugins you'll love it.
  13. DON'T VACUUM you PC, you can brek it (also don't let you cat play inside it, I learned this the hard way). Find a air compressor and blow use it to blow the dust away.
  14. $10/month for Gigabyte Internet here in Romania. (I download with 60+ Mps). What are the prices for you connection?
  15. Nope, it doesnt shot the tick on my pc. Still have to pay!
