  1. Hello everyone, I am here with what might sound as a basic question for a lot of you but I just could not find a straight up answer while searching for it on the internet. I am planning a future hard line water cooled loop. I have chosen all the parts already and I am ready to buy them come around black Friday. The question that I have not found an answer to is: Will the LED light from the corsair ML120 AND ML140 reduce the UV glow from the Ekoolant evo uv blue. The UV source would be 4 cablemod widebeam UV in a corsair air 740 case. Basically, I wanted to know if I get the BLUE LED ML120 or ML140 would they cause issues with the glow from my loop. In which case I'd probably end up buying the NON LED versions of it. I just really like the blue ones. Thanks for everyone and anyone who can give me an answer!

    144hz

Your friend is right. However, that is only if you want to take full advantage of your 144Hz refresh rate on your monitor. Your gtx 1060 will never give you the required raw power you'll need to run all your games at max settings at more than 140 frames at 1080p. Don't worry though. You'll be able to set up the refresh rate of the monitor down to 60Hz if you want to through windows. Maybe you might want to spend less money on a monitor that doesn't do 144 hz refresh rate instead?
  3. Never named my Rig since I never found it worthy of a name as it was the first computer I built myself. However for this listing let's just name it: Project ZeroCpu: I7 3770K - 4.5GHz OCGpu: Crossfire R9 280x (1200 MHz Core - 1600 MHz Memory) OCRam: 16 GB G.Skill DDR3 2400 MHzScore: 6.8 (High). P.S. When both video cards were running at stock meaning 1050 MHz Core and 1500 MHz Memory I got a score of 6.3. Thought I should mention it. I'm running on some relatively old hardware at this point. I always thought I would have to at least get a much better GPU solution than my current crossfire R9 280X. However, it seems that this test says I should be fine. Taking it with a grain of salt either way.
  4. Thanks for the awesome giveaway LinusMediaGroup! I'd really like to win the Excalibur v2 keyboard. The reason being that I still do not have a mechanical keyboard. The Excalibur v2 keyboard has exactly the kind of features I'd be looking for in a new keyboard. Especially when it comes to single key lighting customization. Good luck to everyone and thanks again!
  5. That was a pretty informative video. I can't really agree with the controller. While it seems interesting at first, after thinking about it it will just be annoying and in the way. I guess if you don't have one of those new RGB Asus board you still have the Hue+ as an alternative.
  6. 1. Post a comment below about why you want a new SSD or why you think everyone should have an SSD in their system. (1 comment/entry per person). Awesome giveaway! Keep the content coming on youtube and all other platforms guys! I'd really like it if I could win this giveaway. At this moment, I really could use the extra storage on my computer. The ssd would be mainly used for game storage for those pesky games with somewhat longer loading times. SSD's are getting cheaper yet they are still expensive. In other words I could really use it! I think everyone should have an ssd in their computer. Everyone should at least have an ssd with their bootup operating system on it. If you have the extra money, using an ssd to store your games will dramatically increase their loading times. SSD's write and read speads are dramatically higher than normal HDD's which in turn enables them to outperform them in modern systems. In other words if you don't have an ssd get one now! Good luck to everyone!
  7. Hello everyone, I am completely out of ideas at this point. I just can't figure out why a majority of my games don't run in fullscreen anymore. Allright, so I just want to clarify that everything ran perfectly under windows 7 ultimate. However, since I did a clean install of windows 10 (after the upgrade) a lot of games do not work in fullscreen anymore. Now the games that work in fullscreen: Battlefield 3/4, Titanfall, Star Wars Battlefront, Deus Ex Human Revolution Games that do not work in fullscreen: Skyrim, Fairy Fencer F, Tales of Zesteria and basically all other games you can think of. Even League of Legends does not work in fullscreen. All games work perfectly fine in borderless fullscreen. However, I need true fullscreen for my crossfire to be relevant. All of these games worked perfectly fine in true fullscreen in windows 7 ultimate. So I upgraded to windows 10 and then did a clean install of it. Since then, I have updated all drivers available to me and have kept up to date with all Radeon Crimson drivers. I did my upgrade/clean install a few months back and at the time I thought it was just a windows 10 issue that would get fixed in future updates. I am really out of ideas at this point and would welcome anyone's advice or help. All my computer hardware is linked in the following link. Thanks to everyone that replies! http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/PQJy6h
  8. I'd really like it if I could win the KOVA mouse. It looks are incredibly streamlined and the amount of buttons are exactly what I'm looking for. Right now I only have 3 buttons on my mouse, so I could really use the Kova mouse. Then you add the nice lighting it shows and the 7000 DPI effective; it becomes apparent that you have a great product that I'd like to receive. Thanks for doing these giveaways and thanks to Roccat for the great mice!
  9. Why can't you overclock? Can't you just click into OC tuner and change the multiplier there?
  10. So the gift I'd like to get my mother is this 32 inch Samsung smart tv. http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN32J5205-32-Inch-1080p-Smart/dp/B00U9U8RZQ/ref=sr_1_2?s=tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1449765933&sr=1-2&keywords=smart+tv&refinements=p_36%3A-30000 The reason is quite simple actually. My mother enjoys watching Netflix and Youtube. However, She's still on an old Sony CRT screen. Granted it works fine but it just doesn't keep up with the times. It's not even HD. I'm sure she would enjoy this because while she does know how to use a computer and get on netflix and youtube, it's still not as comfortable as just sitting down on the couch or laying down while watching it it in your living room. I wish good luck to all the contestants and Merry Christmas to all!
