I don't look at my desktop as much as I used to, since I use the search bar in the bottom left to find things much more often. The stuff on the left are programs that I usually use the search bar to find quickly, the stuff on the right are things that I hold on to for a longer period of time in case I need them at some point, and anything at the top is what I'm doing at the moment.

A big ol' mess. I always use Alfred to open apps. I'll probably take better care of it when I get a proper desktop PC...

My understanding is that the number of processors and cores is purely for hardware reporting in the guest machine. The key figure is the total processor cores figure at the bottom. This is the number of threads that you are allocating to the guest machine.

So you could have 1 processor, 8 cores or 2 processors, 4 cores or 4 processors, 2 cores. The result will still be all 8 threads being allocated to the guest machine. The fact that your laptop has 1 processor, 4 cores and 2 threads per core is irrelevant.

    Don't do it.

Your laptop has 8 threads and you really don't want to allocate them all to one or more guest machines. The reason is that you still need to run the host operating system and if you are using Windows then a virus checker as well. You can assume they will need at least two threads if you don't want the system to grind to a halt.

You haven't given much indication of the nature of the guest machine. Therefore I can only give general advice. Start with a small guest machine and enlarge it as necessary. The default settings for a particular operating system are a good starting point. If you are going to increase something from the defaults then I would say it should be the memory. Upping the number of cores I would be more constrained about.

Once you have the guest operating system installed then make sure to install VMware Tools immediately if you want anything like normal graphics performance. Even then expect it to be poor but better than without. That is the nature of virtual machines I am afraid.

    Good luck.

So v1 has this "flat" keyword but v2 doesn't. You can see this in the v1.5.x docs:https://v15.vuetifyjs.com/en/components/buttons#flat
I'm guessing the reason there are subtlties between v1 and v2 is simply the implementation between to the two. You could inspect the code e.g. the css output and compare them to find the differences.

There is also this https://vuetifyjs.com/en/getting-started/upgrade-guide/#upgrading-from-v1-5-x-to-v2-0-x which you might find useful if you have more components to move across.

    Hello,

Sounds like you're using vuetify if you're using a component called v-app-bar.

Tabs can be used for a variety of things... navigation, forms, gallery library etc.

The general use case for them is usually for routers with children.
You'll often see in the Vue Router configuration a router object that looks like this with children

    { name: "Blog", path: "/blog/", component: Blog, children: [ { ... } ] }
Where Blog.vue has router-view inside of its template and that's where  tab view of all your children may come in play.

Dude, you are awesome. Thank you so much. I will try this as soon as I get off from work. Right now I am doing Office work + basic graphic design + basic video and audio editing. Mostly grab stuff from youtube and conver and trim them etc. I will try this later when I have time. Thanks!

The basic steps would be this:
To elaborate a bit on step 1, this is the tool in Gimp to use:

The way I use this, is by clicking and dragging.
First, just press and hold on some of the yellow. If you now move your mouse to the right, it will increase the tolerance, so the more you move your mouse right, the more different shades of yellow you will choose.
Around 106-116 threshold worked well, but your mileage may vary.
After that, I also did the same with the white in the image, because the selection in the middle leaf at the bottom wasn't that great because of the white in there.

Delete the white/yellow now. Now is also the time to select the blue color you'd want the image to be and save that hex code in your notepad or something.

Then, I went to Color > Saturation, to set that to zero (makes the image grayscale). Then I went to Color > Levels and set the Output to only output white:

Now would be the best time to clean up the image a bit. Just set the color to white, pick a brush and just clean up some of the image (I had to clean up some edges at the very bottom and top graphic).
After that, go to Color > Colorize and choose insert the blue color you have saved (and play around a bit with the lightness/saturation to get it the right color you want).

Mine is barely newer and I have no issue opening the waifu 2x image. Maybe just open it in photoshop, downscale it a bit and then put it in illustrator?

I mean you don't even need that high res of an image if you are just going to remake it in illustrator.

Personally I would make the image symmetrical.
Or rather, I would just recreate one side, mirror it to the other side and then just tweak the details on both sides a bit to make it not symmetrical anymore.

Pretty much as @minibois said. Just don't use symmetry as this image isn't symmetrical so avoid that if you want to keep it close to original as possible. Honestly looks like about an hours worth of work depending on the level of uniqueness. Id you want to keep some of that asymmetrical but not quite look for the crosses you can make 5 slightly different ones and stack them in a random order.

What I'm saying is that GRUB shouldn't be your bootloader for blindly loading OS's.

Personally I have a Fedora 34 USB stick, just using the normal installer. Maybe you'd like to try that.

Booting off a USB 2.0 device can take serveral minutes. Ubuntu has done this during the boot process for me, it's just a waiting game for it to come back on. Make sure there are no other displays connected to the system.
