  1. so does that mean the answer to my question is I need faster cores?
  2. So, I'm building a computer for my parents. They don't do anything too demanding. Just office work. my dad does do school online, with webinars and things like that. Should I get a CPU with more cores or faster clock speed?
  3. would the AMD A8-7600 be able to run dual monitors off of the integrated graphics? Not for gaming or anything. Just doing some light - medium office work.
  4. It's really just a basic computer for my mother. She doesn't really run anything more than word. She has a program that she uses to work from home but it's not a rendering program or anything so it's not a demanding workload at all.
  5. If I'm trying to build a workstation that doesn't run any demanding programs, would it be better to have more slower cores or faster fewer cores?

    HELP

Hey guys, I'm back! So I just recently got into building pc's and my first one went smoothly and worked great until today. I tried to open battlefront and it gave me an error message and told me to update my graphics drivers.... and..... like and idiot... I installed the wrong drivers for my graphics card. My screen went blank and I can't fix it. I have the Asus strix gtx 960 if that helps. I also have a really old video card that will work for a few minutes before my computer restarts on it's own. What should I do?
  7. I'm pretty new to pc building and I have a question... I'm looking for some way to add video ports to my recently built pc. Is there a way to do that? Is there an expansion card or do I need something else?
  8. Hey Guys/Girls! I'm new to the forum and to the PC building community. I am putting together my new desktop tomorrow! I have learned so much from LinusTechTips, I have all my computer parts picked put and ready to go.... but now I have more questions which I can not figure out... I want a decent audio set up. I'm looking for suggestions for a DACs/amps(I know those are two different things. Should I buy them separately or not?), headphones, and any other audio devices I may need to make my experience better. I listen to a lot of music. Looking forward to your input!
