Hey,
I'm new to building computers but decided to delve in for the experience gained by it and to have a good desktop that will last a few years.
I want to build a computer that can run OSX, Windows and some sort of Linux (preferably Ubuntu) and plan on using it as my desktop for a few years to game on, work on, and watch linus' beautiful faceticulars.
I plan on using monitors I have laying around, nothing crazy, probably two or three depending on what I can find, but at least 1080p or higher.
For peripherals nothing crazy either for now. Just a regular keyboard and mouse without any flashing lights or special features.
I put together this build based on the guide on tonymacx86.com site and using pcpartpicker: pcpartpicker.com/p/d9whhM Will these parts work, and if you know about hackintoshing, will that work too?
I know it says the graphics card exceeds the case's limit but as shown in some Youtube videos like this one: youtu.be/hIFiBHtYTAA , it barely fits.
Are there any other things I didn't catch that could be improved on? I think I made sure that it's (mildly) OC'able but is it?
I'm willing to spend a few extra bucks (200EUR-ish) on another part if it improves performance a lot or if it's known to work better, more reliable or last longer. Thanks in advance!!
I changed the MoBo and case as suggested. new link : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/f88Mzy
